Hello and welcome, it's Angie here with a fun floral slimline birthday card. I've used dies from Memory Box along with a new stamp and die set from Birch Press Designs called "Crystal Lingo." All of these are from the 2021 Spring Release.
Here's a short quick video showing how I made this card:
Here's a couple of closer looks at the card:
I love the variety of flowers and leafs all the new dies from Memory Box's Spring 2021 release have. Adding those together with the bold look of stamping words from the "Crystal Lingo" set from Birchtree Press on black card stock makes for a very striking design! Here's one last look at my card for today:
Hope you like my card! Be sure to check out all the newest release items here and don't forget to stop by this blog each day for more inspiration from the team! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hello, it's Angie here today with some of the new 2021 Spring dies, stamps and papers from Memory Box! This latest release not only has some amazing new large stamp sets and beautiful dies, it also has the newest product - 6" X 6" card stock pads in the most amazing solid coordinating colors! My card showcases several of the gorgeous colors available in these new pads of card st0ck.
I used several new dies, new paper and a new stamp set, along with a few previously released dies too.
Here's a video showing how I made this card:
1) The rainbows were made with the new "Arch Collage" die and five of the new 6" x 6" solid color paper pads. I first used the arch die on seven colors of card stock. Next I cut the arches from a slimline white panel, adding a white backing panel to it, so I could paper pieced the strips into the negative space on both rainbows.
I also used several of the newly released slimline dies. I love to make slimline cards and these dies make it so easy to do.
2) The white panels were cut with the new "Wrapped Slim Stitched" rectangle dies and the black panel was cut with one of the new "Slim Basic Rectangle Layers" die. This die set has so many sizes to create layers of any size on your slimline creations.
3) The sentiment is heat embossed in white on black card stock and it is from the "Joyful Moments" clear stamp set. I die cut it with the smallest die in the "Wrapped Stitched Rectangle" die set.
4) The hearts were cut from the same pink paper with the "Sprinkle Heart Collage" die and placed on the card front.
5) Lastly I added the card to the card base (which was 3.5" x 8.5") and added lots of shimmer pen to all the hearts and all the arched colored pieces. It's hard to see the shine but in person, it just glistens!
Here's one more look:

Hello and welcome! It's Angie here today, with a short video and two cards made using the beautiful newly released "Blooming 3D Embossing Folder." Memory Box 3D embossing folders are gorgeous and give your projects wonderful texture with lots of detail. For card #1, I used a large portion of the embossed panel and for card #2, I used just a tiny portion of a black panel.
Here's a short video of the making of these two cards. It also shows in detail how I colored these beautiful embossed flowers with colored pencils on black card stock.

Hello everyone. Hope everyone is doing good this week. I'm so excited about the new spring release. So many must have items. One of them is the 3D embossing folder. You can quickly and easily make beautiful cards for any occasion. Check out the how to video linked below.
Front panel:
Take the darkest purple color from the Ocean Blue paper pack, lightly spray with water, and emboss with the 3D embossing folder. Trim down the panel to 4"x51/2". Lightly swipe Picket Fence Distress ink across the top of the flowers. Use your finger or blending tool to blend in the ink into the flowers and leafs. Lightly swipe Picket Fence Distress ink across the top of the flowers again. Side a side to dry.
Butterfly:
Die cut the base butterfly from the Glade Butterfly from the same dark purple card stock. Die cut the top of the Glade Butterfly from the light purple card stock from the Ocean Blue paper pack. Add Fairy Sugar Berry Mist glitter glue to the base of the butterfly. Let dry. Fold the wings of the top die due and then glue just the center to the base butterfly die cut.
Sentiment
Stamp the sentiment on white 110lb card stock using "Missing your Smile" sentiment from Joyful Moments and Monarch VersafineClare's ink. Fussy cut out the sentiment.
Assembly:
Glue the front embossed panel to a white A2 card. Glue the butterfly and sentiment on the panel.
Have you seen the latest Memory Box video that compares working with colored pencils with watercolors? It is loaded with great ideas for using some of the beautiful Memory Box floral clear stamp sets. You can watch the video above or view it directly on YouTube here- https://youtu.be/lorFBhKbvvU
Hello everybody! I am always looking different way to use my dies to create a unique card shape or design, and so I made a video to show how you can create a custom cut card flap for your cards. I have included a list of the supplies used for each card below - enjoy the video and I hope you are inspired to try some new flaps!
The Wild Rose stamp set has large open areas that are perfect for watercoloring. The video above has lots of ideas for using the stamp set as well as tips and techniques for coloring. You can also view the video directly on YouTube here.
Memory Box has brand new 6" x 6" glitter paper packs that are perfect for die cutting (the glitter stays on the paper and doesn't transfer to your hands or everything you own). You can also add details and interest by pairing the glitter papers with Copic markers. The video above teaches you about how well the two pair together. You can also watch the video directly on YouTube here.
Don't forget that this month's challenge theme is glitter glues and glitter papers. The video might inspire you to join us! Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
We've had a lot of fun with the new wide washi tape in our collections and I thought that sharing a video making some holiday cards might be a good idea! Washi tape has a translucent property that can transform a project into something magical - the possibilities are endless and this will get your creative juices flowing!
Listed below are close up photographs of the cards used in the video - along with a list of the supplies and links to where you can get them! More links are available in the supplies list in the video!
Recently I have been obsessed with Distress Oxide Sprays and found time to make a video using them!
I can't get enough color and texture on my backgrounds as of late and these sprays create such an eye catching look. I am using some favorites from the Holiday 2019 Collection to make a collage style card - and the sprays helped pull things together in a flash.
