Aurora Snowflake Shaker
Trina Pham

IMG_3485

Hello there.  I have a super easy white-on-white snowflake shaker card to share today featuring the Aurora Snowflake die from the 2023 Christmas collection.  It’s my first true white-on-white card since I did’t cave and use silver for my sentiment!

Started by die cutting the snowflake opening in the center of a 4x5.25-inch white woodgrain paper panel using the background shadow die.  Adhered a piece of acetate behind it then added foam strips on the perimeter to create the well in which to house the shaker bits.  Add the shaker bits and then seal it in with a piece of cardstock.

Die cut the snowflake itself from white glitter paper.  White heat embossed the sentiment onto vellum then punched it out with a 3/4-inch circle punch.  Assembled onto a white card base to finish.

And that’s a wrap.  Thank you for joining me today.  Have a wonderful day.IMG_0323

Thinking of You
by Donna Sledzik

IMG_1868

Good morning everyone!  Today's card features new products from the 2022 May and June Memory Box release.

To make my card, I used the Sunburst Hot Foil Plate to add gold foil to white cardstock.  Next, I used a circle die to cut a circle around the foiled sunburst.  I used Distress Oxide Inks to add color to the sunburst.  The colors I used were: Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks.

The leaves were embossed and die cut from the new Tropical Leaves 3D Embossing Folder and Dies.  I used a blender brush and Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Inks to add color to the leaves.

I trimmed the sunburst circle and glued it to a white cardstock panel, which I adhered to a black cardstock mat.  I glued this panel to a white card base.  I stamped the sentiment on a strip of black cardstock and white heat embossed it.  This was glued along the bottom of the foiled sunburst.  Next, I glued the leaves in place.

The seagulls were die cut from black cardstock and glued to the card.

To finish the card, I spattered it with gold ink.

That's it for today!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Slimline with Foil Plates
by Angie Cimbalo

2 wm

Hello and welcome! It's Angie here today with this mini slimline "hello" card featuring some of the brand new release products. The three new dies I used are:

1) Hello Daily Script 94658
2) Sunburst Hot Foil Plate MBF009
3) Bouquet Blooms & Leaves die set 94652

I combined those with the Stitched Circle Layers dies 30036 and the Slim Pinpoint Burst die 94557. Here's another look at my card:

Here's how I made my card
1) Using foiling machine I foiled the sunburst in Turquoise foil
2) With the left over negative piece and foiled it on an separate piece of card stock.
3) Using the circle dies, cut the center from the negative foiled piece.
4) Trim down the main panel with the blue sunburst to fit on a mini slimline size card base
5) Run it through my die cutting machine with the Slim Pinpoint Burst die
6) Cut the flower from both the blue negative foil and a piece of silver negative foil, piece them together.
7) Add the circle die cut to the center of the main panel lining up the sunbursts
8) Pop up the flower in the center of the sunburst.
9) Cut the Hello shadow piece twice from white and once from the extra turquoise negative foil.
10) Cut the rest of the hello die from white card and piece it all together.
11) Add the hello die-cut to the bottom of the card.
12) Round the corners of the card.

Here's one final close up look at my card:

Hello

Hello everyone!  I was so excited when I saw the foil plates and dies in the 2022 May release!

To make the card, I used the Sunburst Hot Foil Plate to add gold foil to white cardstock using a foiling machine.  Next, I used a blender brush to apply Distress Oxide inks to my foiled cardstock.  Because the foil is like a letterpress design that is debossed into the paper, the ink doesn't cover the foil.

I trimmed the cardstock and adhered it to a black cardstock mat, which I then glued to a white card base.

Using black cardstock, I die cut the Graceful Poppy Stems and the Sweet Poppy Stem and glued those to the card front.

Next, I die cut the shadow from the Hello Daily Script die from white cardstock, and the word hello from black cardstock.  I glued the black hello word die to the shadow and adhered it to the card.

On a strip of black cardstock I white heat embossed the sentiment and adhered it to the card.

To finish the card, I added some yellow sequins for some dimension.

And that's it for today! Have a great day!
