Laura's beautiful Cottage Meadow Rub On card was the inspiration for today's project - love the pretty colors on her kraft background! These new rub-ons are perfect for cards of all sizes with bright colors and happy flowers for any occasion. Hi, Jean here with a floral circles to celebrate a special birthday.
Cut the wreath and smaller floral clusters from the new Cottage Meadow Rub Ons. Carefully remove the paper backing and tap them onto white cardstock - don't remove the clear top liner yet. Cover them with printer paper if your cutting plate is scratched or not super-clean - then cut the cardstock with the 3-¼" and 1-½" Circle Basics Dies. Carefully remove the top liner. Cut semi-circles of the dark bright orange Sunrise 6x6 and attach them behind the rub-on circles for color accents and dimension.
Cut the small butterfly wings of the new Canyon Butterflies set from the chartreuse Rainbow Reflections 6x6. Cut the center section from the chartreuse Graceful Garden Glitter Pad 6x6. Attach it to the background.
Cut white cardstock to 4-½" x 10-¼". Score it at 4". Attach the circles.
Prep the fun new Happy Birthday Breezy Script die by rubbing it briskly with scrunched waxed paper for an easy release. Diecut the greeting from a orange Sunrise Collection 6x6 - leave the dot for the letter i in the die until you're ready to attach it. Attach the greeting.
Add orange Bright Jewels. Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
Cottage Meadow Rub Ons are great for quick cards. The set of sheets also includes a wood craft stick to burnish the designs - but I use my diecut machine for quick, smooth results.
Thanks for visiting!
