Joy to the World
by Michelle Bala

26

Hello there! Michelle here, with a cute shaker card! I used the Petite Leaf Frame Die, Joy Airy Script Die, and

Merry and Bright Mistletoe Stamp Set.

28

I started off by inking up a piece of smooth Bristol cardstock with bundled sage distress oxide ink. Die cut the frame. I die cut the frame two times

for extra leaves. I added color to the leaves with Copic Markers in shades YG61, YG63, and YG67.  I die cut the Joy sentiment and added

some shimmer with Stickles glitter glue in red. Set aside to dry. Emboss and trim the type sentiment.

27

To assemble the card, turn the leaf frame upside down and adhere a piece of clear acetate as your shaker window. Than,

apply foam tape along the perimeter of the frame ( both squares) and all the tiny leaves.  For the shaker sequins, I like to place them

on the card base in a small cluster than place the frame on top so I can center the frame. Lastly, add the sentiments. For a finishing touch

I added some bells and twine.

Thanks for stopping by!

Glad Tidings
by Michelle Bala

10
Hello there! Michelle here, stopping by to share a Christmas card I created using Tidings Wreath

clear stamp set.  I stamped the wreath onto Copic Marker friendly cardstock.
10

Here is a list of the colors I chose, for the greenery: YG61, G24, YG67;  the berries: R24, R29, R59;

white/ gray: W00, W1, W2, W3, W6;  blue/ gray: BG70, BG72, BG75;

the background: V20, V22, and colorless blender.

For large images, I color a small section at a time. I don't like to color all the same- colored images at once.

I tend to get bored and make mistakes. Coloring a small section allows me to see where I want to lay my shadows.

After the image is complete, trim your panel. This card measures 4 1/4 by 5 1/2.
10

I adhered the panel to a card base, than splattered some white and gold paint. After the paint splatter dries

I added some clear Stickles glitter glue. I embossed two sentiments from the same stamp set with gold embossing powder.

I hope you enjoyed this post!

Peace on Earth
by Michelle Bala

13

Hello there! Michelle here, sharing a Christmas card using the amazing Ruffled Poinsettia Die!!!

This card is fairly simple to create. Here is how I went about it...I die cut the poinsettia three times.

I colored the petals, leaves, and flower centers with Copic Markers. I left the frame of the petals and leaves

white.
13

The lighter poinsettia Copic colors: RV00, RV02, RV04.  The darker poinsettia Copic colors: RV63, RV66, RV69.

For the leaves: G40, G43, G46. For the flower centers: YR21, YR24. I splattered white paint on the leaves and petals and set aside to dry.

I used a piece of black card stock for the background. Splattered some white and gold paint and set aside to dry.

I die cut Peace sentiment twice, once with silver glitter card stock the other with basic black card stock. I adhered them

together slightly off center to create a shadow. Emboss and trim the sentiment from the stamp set Tidings Wreath.

13

Assemble the card as you desire. This is the fun part! You can arrange the flowers and sentiments any way you choose!

I adhered the poinsettias first with foam tape. Than I trimmed the over hang. Than I adhered the die cut sentiment,

also with foam tape. The embossed sentiment I adhered with glue.

For a finishing touch, I added some Stickles clear glitter glue to the flower centers.

Hope you give this a try!!!

Autumn Blessings
by Michelle Bala

16

Hello there! Michelle here, sharing an autumn card.  Today I focused on the stamp set Grateful Autumn.

Acorns are my most favorite fall item!  I started on the base of the card.  I embossed kraft cardstock background with

Wow embossing powder in metallic copper sparkle powder.  Than I splattered some white diluted paint.

16

I embossed several leaves and acorns and colored them with Copic Markers.  I added the Copic shades on my blog.

Trim up your leaf/ acorn combos and adhere them with foam tape.

Lastly, I embossed the sentiments with black embossing powder, trimmed them up and adhered them with foam tape.

For a finishing touch I scattered some gems.

Hope you enjoy! Thanks for stopping by!

Wish For This Day
by Michelle Bala

Hello there! Michelle Bala here with my first blog post for Memory Box!

I created a slim line shaker card. These cards measure 3 1/2 by 8 1/2.

Create your card base at 31/2 by 8 1/2. Trim your top layer with the same measurement.

Ink up this panel using shaded lilac, wilted violet and chipped sapphire distress oxide inks.

Splatter with some water than white paint.  Allow to dry.  I stamped the branches from Winter Greenery

Stamp Set with forest moss and evergreen bough distress oxide inks. Die cut the branches than set aside.

After the top panel has dried use the smallest star from Shining Star Die Set and cut four

windows.  Trim acetate and adhere behind the star windows.  Ink up a piece of cardstock with

evergreen bough and die cut with Wish Airy Script word die. Emboss and trim the sentiment from the

stamp set Grateful Autumn.

Using foam tape, adhere the top panel to the card base. Be sure to add shaker sequins before.

Adhere the die cut branches and trim off  edges. Adhere die cut sentiment and embossed sentiment.

For a finishing touch I added some rhinestones and glitter glue.

Hope you give it a try!
