Stamping With Bibiana

Hello, my name is Bibiana I was born in Colombia, South America. I grew up between Mexico and France and currently live in California, where I discovered the Art of Scrapbooking, Mix Media and Card Making. As long as I can remember, my two worlds have been Languages and Arts. Nowadays, I teach French and Spanish and work as an interpreter/translator. In the world of Arts, I have ventured into all sorts of crafts from crochet, knitting, and refinishing furniture to scrapbooking, mix media, pastel and acrylic painting. I started cardmaking and teaching in 2008 and received an invitation to join the Memory Box design team. I write two foreign language blogs for them- "Un Brin de Créativité" in French and "A crear se dijo!" in Spanish. Stamping is a wonderful hobby. It has made me extremely happy, has been a door to wonderful opportunities of growth, and has given me the chance to meet real nice and sweet people from all sorts of backgrounds that share this same YOU! I hope that you find something inspiring through what I like to do!

Anne Thompson

I am a native Mainer living in my family home and helping to care for my aging parents. I retired several years ago from a career as a teacher/school library media specialist. I discovered rubber stamping about ten years ago and started teaching card-making classes soon after. Unfortunately, my local stamp store closed about a year ago, the last one in the area. I still teach occasional classes for a group of dedicated stampers who have continued to meet every Monday as well as seasonal card classes at the town Senior Center. I have been on the Memory Box Design Team for a while now and have really fallen in love with dies and stencils. I enjoy making books and three-dimensional constructions that incorporate many different materials and techniques and have recently begun to add fabric into the mix. I strive to create something every day, even if it's just a sketch in my journal, an ATC, a tag, or a pleasing arrangement of "stuff" on a side table. The mixed media sign I made that hangs next to my worktable sums up my goals: "Create Art, Dream Big, and Inspire Others".

I've enjoyed creating with Dave Brethauer's designs for 12 great years – and have taught over 400 Memory Box classes in Seattle. My husband and I love living in the northwest with our three cocker spaniels – chocolates Peppermint Patty and Taffy, and beige Sage the rescue pup. My previous life included a career in consumer products and foodservice sales to a wide range of accounts and industries. I'm privileged to teach at Impress throughout the year and appreciate my loyal following of wonderful students and the great friendships that have evolved. My design plan works backwards – imagine the result, then find the perfect Memory Box products, colors and techniques to achieve it. I love sharing my ideas with you and hope they'll inspire you to create something special today!

Laura Fulcher

Hi! My name is Laura, and I am an admitted craftaholic. I grew up as a Navy brat and had the wonderful opportunity to live in multiple states as well as the Philippines and England. Currently, I am an East Coast woman and live just outside of Washington DC. Besides stamping, I really enjoy travel, reading, visiting museums, finding new coffee houses, and watching baseball. Go Nationals! I started stamping in 1996 when I walked into a stamp store in Albuquerque and was taught about this wonderful thing called "embossing." I have a particular fondness for coloring, whether it is using pencils, Copics, watercolor paints, or good old fashioned crayons. I teach several classes a month at Angela's Happy Stamper in Herndon, VA and really enjoy meeting new people with the same creative interests as myself. I feel incredibly blessed and grateful to be a part of the Memory Box team with the chance to create with their beautiful dies and stamps.

Melissa Rusk

I enjoy traveling, knitting, reading, going to concerts and of course, playing with paper. I work at my local scrapbooking store Craft Fancy and teach several classes a month. I love getting to share my passion for creating with others and I am so excited to be a part of the Memory Box design team.

Isha Gupta

New Ideas

Hello everyone! My name is Isha Gupta. I live in Switzerland with my supportive husband and my two adorable daughters. Ever since I was a child, I enjoyed crafting. After finishing my college degree in Chemistry and Biology, I worked as a graphic designer before deciding to become a SAHM. I discovered stamping about 6 years ago, and have been loving my new crafty life ever since. Who would think that a couple of stamps, some ink, paper and colors could make a girl happy? I love trying out a variety of styles. Usually, my creations tend to be clean and simple with an artsy take, like coloring or a new technique. I'm so excited to join the Memory Box Design Team, I absolutely adore the amazing dies! I truly hope I'll be able to inspire you to have fun creating your own projects!

Olga Direktorenko

Building Your World

My name is Olga and I am from Ukraine where I live with my dear husband, our three wonderful children and a dachshund. I have always been attracted to visual arts and I have been crafting since five, but paper art became a revelation to me. I like using different techniques, but die cutting is surely my favorite. It is also a great pleasure to realize there are so many talented crafters around the world and I am happy to be the part of this community.

Trina Pham

Phamtastic Design

Hello there! My name is Trina Pham and I live in Canada with my husband. Unlike many crafters who have been crafting in some shape or form most of their lives, I accidentally discovered this incredible hobby at a time when l needed a positive outlet. I'm sure like most paper crafters, heat embossing hooked me. But it was not until 2016 when my passion for it grew and I started blogging. You can find me at Phamtastic Design. I did all kinds of paper crafting (cards, scrapbooking, 3-D items, tags, etc), but now I stick to cards. My cards are mostly clean and simple (CAS), but I will explore and try anything. I am honoured and thrilled to join the Memory Box design team. I look forward to working with their incredible products and sharing my creations.

Pam Sparks

Hello everyone! I'm Pam Sparks, wife, mom to 3 married daughters and grandma to 17 kiddos! I grew up in Council Bluffs/Omaha, loved riding my bike, playing the piano, singing, reading and sewing. I married Tim and moved to Oskaloosa, IA. I have always loved crafting/creating, quilting and handwork! The first time I saw stamping demonstrated was at a homeschool convention in April of 1994, I was intrigued! Later that year, we (3 daughters and I) opened a rubber stamp store uptown, Expressions With Heart, and were successful enabling others for 12 years! Since then, I've enjoyed stamping, Copic coloring and die cutting for several different companies. I've been designing cards, blogging and teaching for Memory Box for almost two years now. I love it!

Deborah Nolan

I'm an attorney who prefers to teach college rather than practice law. I have a husband (aka: Spouse), a daughter (aka: Gigi), and a cat and two dogs. Which one of these five will drive me 'round the bend first is anybody's guess, but I wouldn't have it any other way because Home is Where All My Crazies Are! Despite having major glue issues, I love to make cards because all the other stuff is so utterly cool. I have way too many interests to ever be bored, and when I'm not hanging out with my family or making cards, you can usually find me reading, (my first true love) blogging, teaching classes, messing about with calligraphy, watching good movies, surfing the Internet, teaching myself how to do something, or (heaven help us) trying to pull myself from Pinterest. As you've probably guessed, I'm never bored! I'm honored to be a part of the Memory Box design team and it's my humble desire to always provide a little something in my projects that will spark reader creativity. And now I'm off to play with my Vagabond and dies....

Jennifer Van Pelt

Jennifer Van Pelt

Hello everyone, my name is Jennifer Van Pelt and I have been a rubber stamper since 1996. I turned my hobby into my vocation in 2006 when I bought The Stamp Addict rubber stamp store in San Diego, CA. I love all paper crafting which can be seen in all the different types that I play around with….cardmaking, scrapbooking, mixed media, art journaling and Zentangle! I am married to the love of my life Eric and in Aug. 2013 we were blessed with being able to adopt our son Riley, who it turned out has Cystic Fibrosis. I have my hands full being his mommy and fulltime advocate, Cystic Fibrosis educator & fundraiser, so my crafting time is a big stress reliever for me and I LOVE working with the Memory Box dies, stencils and stamps! It is so much fun teaching people how to use them in creative ways and I feel so blessed to be a part of the Memory Box design team!

I'm a Mom and Grandma who is happiest spending time with family, enjoying photography, interior design and working in my home art studio. Sharon Harnist

Sharon Harnist

Hello, I'm Sharon Harnist and I'm thrilled to be here designing for one of my long-time favorite papercrafting companies!  I am a native Texan currently residing in the sunny warm southern coastal area of the state with my husband of 24 years and two teen daughters.  I'm a lifetime crafter, thanks to my mother who taught me all kinds of crafts from an early age! It wasn't until 1995 as a newlywed that I discovered papercrafting in the form of scrapbooking our honeymoon photos. I was first introduced to rubber stamping and cardmaking in February 2004 and immediately fell in love with this form of papercrafting! Shortly thereafter I became a demonstrator and instructor of rubber stamping, cardmaking and scrapbooking. I have been fortunate to design for rubber stamp and papercrafting tool manufacturers, and online retail stores since February 2007. Since then, I've been blessed to have my work featured in major papercrafting magazines and on display at International trade shows. I enjoy photographing my family and the tropical vacation destinations we love to explore!

Le Cardon Bleu

I'm a single mom of two grown sons and live in sunny Southern California.  I have been in business for almost 30years providing transcribing and editing services.  Although I've dabbled in many craft forms over the years, I was introduced to stamping 25 years ago and was hooked at once.  But THEN, after buying and using my first Memory Box die, I'm now literally addicted to paper crafting with these magical tools.  It has become my therapy!  Approximately once a month I teach a card making class at Ultimate Hobbies here in Orange. I find such enjoyment in sharing my cards and I am so honored to be a part of the Memory Box Outside the Box Design Team!

Penny Ward

Penny Ward INK

Hi, my name is Penny Ward. I am a daughter, sister, wife of a wonderful man, mother of two handsome sons, Nana and Breast Cancer survivor. That small white dog in my photo...that is my shadow and we call him Snowy. We live in beautiful Lake Placid, Florida just down the street from our two little grandsons (isn't that convenient?). I am retired from a Fortune 500 company where I spent almost 20 years helping others achieve their dreams. I found papercrafting when I entered my local hobby store looking for things to make personalized thank you cards. My BFF's had thrown me a first time grandma party (how cool is that?) and I wanted to make something special in return. Once I got started with the pretty papers and oh so cool tools (love my tools), I just couldn't stop. That was 5 years ago and I still love going into my craft studio every day! I am super thrilled to be a part of the Memory Box design team and honored to be working with such talented artists. Memory Box products are so fresh and trendy, and have been a staple in my crafting room since day one. I hope you find inspiration in my passion for card making and the artwork you will find on Outside the Box (I mean really, what a perfect name for our blog). :)
