Send flowery birthday hugs with the 3D-Embossed Breezy Bouquet from the Birthday Wishes collection. A mix of pinks - and pops of yellow - could also create a special card for Valentine's Day. Hi, Jean here with a double-embossed design for a special birthday.
Use a soft rubber brayer to apply a generous layer of VersaMark (from a clean, well-inked pad) to the Breezy Bouquet 3D Embossing Folder. Spritz both sides of textured pink cardstock with a light mist of water. Place it carefully in the folder with the smoother side facing the inked surface. Roll it thru your diecut machine using the plates required for pressure-embossing.
Quickly cover the 3D-embossed and Versa-Marked design with detail clear embossing powder. Tap off the excess powder and heat-emboss the design - stopping 2 or 3 times to cool the heat-tool and prevent overheating.
Cut the cooled design with the largest Double-Stitch Happy Heart Cut Out die. Ink the flower centers with Sunflower Yellow Brilliance.
Cut lighter pink cardstock with the 2-3/4" wide Rectangle Basics die.
Stamp the greeting - from the new Birthday Chic Clear Stamps and Die Set on the smoother side of the textured pink cardstock with VersaMark and heat-emboss it. Trim it with the 1" wide Rectangle Basics die.
The Breezy Bouquet 3D Embossing Folder set includes a die for the largest flower.
Attach the diecuts to a side-folded A6 card of textured pink cardstock (it's 6" x 4-1/2") - use foam tape for the top and bottom of the heart and the center and right side of the greeting.
Thanks for visiting our blog - have a great weekend!
