Merry Christmas Card
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! So, I am sure you all have your Christmas cards done by now. If not...no worries. Here is an idea for you :) It's Isha and today, I want to share a fun technique of creating clusters using various dies and a watercolor background on yupo paper.

Did you check our current challenge yet? It's all about Holiday Sparkle and Shine and that is exactly, I am going to share too.

Isha_December_card1

I started by cutting a white mat layer from Yupo paper and applied some Teal watercolor to it. Let it dry. Meanwhile, I die-cut scalloped stitch trimmings twice. Once using a teal glitter cardstock and once white.

I then die-cut all the various elements to create the cluster. I watercolored some of the leaves. Adding a bit of glitter embossing powder to the die-cuts gives a festive look to the simple images.

Once, I had all the elements, I simply adhered the rectangle trimming to ground the cluster of flowers and foliage.  I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto a colored cardstock and die-cut using the co-ordinating dies.

Here is a close up to check on all the lovely glitter.

Merry Christmas Card
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! It's Isha and today, I want to share a Christmas card using the new release products. I am enjoying the triangle stamps to use on my Christmas cards. There are so many various shapes and designs to choose from.

Isha_November_card2

I started by cutting a white mat layer and flicked some red, green and black splatters to it. Let it dry. In the meantime die-cut the Poinsettia Circle Frame from white cardstock, cut the base a little and adhere to the mat layer.

I then stamped the sentiment and cut the stripe.

Finally, I stamped, embossed the triangles using platinum sparkle embossing powder and die-cut them using the co-ordinating dies.

Adhered the trees using 3d foam and adhere the sentiment stripe. This card was easy to make and looks really festive with all the glitter and shine from the embossing powder.

To start, I cut a white mat layer and stamped the background using a teal ink. I then sponged the edges a bit using the same ink.

I stamped the stripe using black ink to use as a side stripe on my card. Now, I die cut two of the triangles and sponged some inks to them. I die cut the twig and colored using gold watercolor. I then die cut the poinsettia twice, colored them using copic markers and stacked them together.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment and die cut it.

Now, I flicked some gold and black splatters to everything and assembled the cluster.

Winter Greetings Card
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! It's Isha and today, I want to share a graphic CAS Christmas card using the new release products. There are so many fun graphic stamps and a gorgeous background stamp in this release.

Isha_October_card3

To start, I cut a white mat layer and stamped the background using a very light grey ink. I then stamped the triangles in various sizes using 4 different colors of dye inks.

Then die-cut the word greetings and the winter frame using white cardstock 2 times, apply embossing ink and emboss using WOW! Silver Bells embossing glitter on one of them and then stack with the 2nd die cut.

Now, I adhered a piece of vellum to the mat layer. Adhere the embossed die-cuts.

Adhere this mat layer to a grey cardbase.

Winter Wishes Card
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! It's Isha and today, I want to share a CAS Christmas card using dies only. I really love how we can mix dies from various releases.

Isha_October_card2

To start, I created a red square cardbase. I then cut a kraft mat layer and added some gesso flicks to create a look of snow. Once dry, I used the Holly frame and embossed the layer instead of die-cutting it.  I then die-cut the Holly frame in white and adhere it to the mat layer. Embossing the frame and then adhering the white frame on top gives a nice dimension.

I then die-cut the Candle trio using white glitter cardstock and added some color to the image using zig clean color real brush markers.

I sponged some distress oxide ink to create the candle glow and the base. I then adhered the candles to it. To finish, I added some red sequins to the card.

To start, I created a white cardbase. I then cut a mat layer and added some color towards the center. I used distress inks, dabbed them onto the craft mat and used these as watercolors. Let this dry.

I then added some Heidi Swapp gold flick.

I then die-cut a white cardstock using the silent snowflake frame die. and adhered it to the mat layer. Adhere this to the cardbase. I then flick some black paint to this piece and added some more gold to the edges.

Fa La La Card
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! It's Isha with you today. Today, I want to share how we can create Christmas cards using the new holiday collection using non-traditional Christmas colors. My daughter asks for such colors on the cards for her teacher and friends :) The new stamps and dies are perfect to create cute, fun cards.

Isha_MB_Sept18_Card2

To start, I created a top folding white square card. I then die-cut the holly frame using pearl gray cardstock. I die-cut the same frame using a gray cardstock and stacked them together.

Now, I stamped the images and some of the music notes. I colored in the images using copic markers and pencil colors. I used the co ordinating dies to cut all the images.

I adhered the frame to the white base and stamped the sentiment. I then adhered all the images. The frame grounds the adorable bunnies perfectly.

Woodland Deer Card
by Isha Gupta

Hello and Welcome! It's Isha with you today. Fall is in the air for us and I simply love fall. The colors are amazing and the feel of the fresh crisp air. What do you like about fall?

So, for my card today, I decided to create a sponged background and used the Woodland Bridge Frame die from the new Holiday collection. This die set has adorable deer, frame and bridge dies.

  Isha_MB_Sept_Card3

To start, I created a top folding Kraft cardbase. I then die-cut the outer frame 4 times using the same Kraft cardstock and stacked it together to create a dimensional frame.

Now I took a white mat layer to create the background. I sponged various distress inks for a fall sky effect. I then flicked some water for additional texture.

Now, I die-cut the inside frame and the deer using black cardstock and adhered it to the background piece. I adhered this piece to the cardbase and then added the frame we created earlier. The stitched details in the frame gives this CAS card some more texture.

I like to keep some seasonal cards without the sentiments, so I can use them whenever needed. This die I feel is great for such cards.

I die-cut the twig using watercolor paper and colored in using various distress inks. I die-cut the holly twig from glitter gold cardstock and created a twig cluster.
