Hanging Out with Friends

Hi - hope you're having a great weekend!  Jean Okimoto here, with another Halloween card featuring designs from our 2013 Holiday Collection.

The new items are:

  • Spooky Mansion E1974
  • With My Ghoul Friends B1976  (there's a little pumpkin attached to the side too!)
  • Washi Tape Solid D1942
  • Washi Tape Dots D1978
  • Washi Tape Stripes D1931
  • Ghastly Ghosts Die 98701

It's great how Washi Tape Solid can add another color to any background and highlight a greeting. Follow the 'Read more' link below for details and product lists.

ColorBox Archival Dye Inkpads in Frosted Plum, Khaki Green and Pumpkin Pie are quick-drying and perfect for the layered washi tape-look.  There's a great new tool for stenciling, shading and blending too - it's Clearsnap's ColorBox Color Blender, peeking thru between the inkpads and the Spooky Mansion stamp on the right.   The removable white foam applicators are attached to a black plastic handle - just pull them off and attach a new applicator to switch inks. Quick, easy and economical.

Thanks for visiting!

Secret Potions

Congrats to the winner of our Holiday Blitz!  Hope everyone enjoyed the cards and projects as much as we loved sharing them with you!  Jean Okimoto here, with another fall card:

The Distressed Dots and Moroccan Signature Prints seemed like the perfect bubbly, fizzy backgrounds for the new Bubbling Potions C1972 stamp. Or stamp it on a light background and watercolor or paint it with Smooch Accent Inks.

Village House 98594, with its door propped open a bit, was a good location for brewing the secret concoctions.  A Bunch of Bats 98708 hovers overhead.

If you're in the Seattle area this weekend - be sure to stop by Impress and help them celebrate their 26th Birthday on Saturday July 20th.  Enjoy a 26% discount and wish them a Happy Birthday!  It'll be a great chance to stock up on Memory Box and Poppystamps products - bring your wishlist with you!  View the Memory Box Collection here . See the Poppystamps Collection right here.

Thinking of you!

I had such a blast yesterday teaching this card along with 4 others at my store The Stamp Addict in San Diego and the really great part? I get to do it again this coming Thursday from 2-4PM. So if you want to come join the fun give us a call to reserve your seat.

For this card I used the new Memory Box dies Garden Pots and Village House and the new stamps Shadow Trees and Just Thinking of You Combo with a rainbow inkpad. So much fun!
