Create a summer garden collage card with Cottage Meadow Rub Ons and golden Buzzing Bumblebees.  It's colorful, easy - and there's no measuring!  Hi, Jean here with a versatile basic design - and a great way to create a layered background for rub ons, stamped images or diecuts.

Cut the blocks from the Vintage Tray 3D Embossing Folder and Die Set from mustardy-yellow cardstock.  Cut the Cottage Meadow Rub Ons leaving a generous margin around the blossoms and leaves.

Carefully remove the paper liner and gently tap the rub on onto the diecut block.  Cover it with printer paper to protect it from any scratches on the diecutting plate.  Run it through the machine using the plates you'd use for diecutting.  Carefully remove the plastic liner.

Diecut Buzzing Bumblebees from the gold Rainbow Reflections 6x6 and the gold Glitzy Glitter Pad 6x6.  I cut all of the pieces from both 6x6's and saved the extras for other projects.

Assemble the 3 bees.

Cover a piece of the yellow cardstock with ScorTape and cut the Hello Breezy Script background.  Cut the delicate top layer from a Greenery Solid Core 6x6 - leave it in the die and use a piercing tool to remove the little pieces in the e, l's and o.  Press the diecut (still in the die) firmly onto the adhesive-covered background.  Cover the exposed adhesive with detail clear embossing, tap off the excess, then heat-emboss it to adhere the top layer and add a glossy background.

Attach the diecuts to a top-folded white A2 card - use foam tape for the middle and right side of the greeting.

Thanks for visiting - see you again on Friday!

Canyon Butterfly Hello
by Trina Pham

IMG_6605

Hello everyone.  After many trials and errors, this simple card turned out to be my favourite.  My card today features the Canyon Butterfly and Hello Breezy Script dies from the current 2024 Fuchsia release.

The butterfly wings were die cut from white while its body/antennae/edge layers were die cut from black.  Ink blended the wings with Salvaged Patina distress ink using a finger blending brush.

IMG_6606

The background panel was embossed with the Blooming 3D embossing folder.  Die cut the sentiment from white and its shadow from black.  Adhered the butterfly body directly to the embossed panel and popped up the wings with foam tape for more dimension and give it a floating effect. Mounted the panel onto a white card base to finish.

Hello with Delicate Fuchsia Trio
by Angie Cimbalo

Main 1

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today with a card featuring goodies from the brand new Fuchsia Release.  For my card I used the new Delicate Fuchsia 94784 die for my focal point.  I also used the new "Hello Breezy Script" die 94781 for the sentiment.  Both papers the plaid and floral are from two brand new paper packs, "Brilliant Fuchsia" PP1030 and "Fuchsia Plaid" PP1029.  I cut those papers and some "White Woodgrain Paper" SH44001 with the "A2 Rectangle Frames" dies set 94672.  Here's another look:

The floral die was cut from white card stock and then colored with a variety of markers, alcohol, watercolor and colored pencils before assembling the pieces together.  One thing I love about Memory Box dies is that the photo on the front of the package is "to size" meaning you can lay the pieces of the die right on top of the photo to make sure you are putting them together correctly!  The thin part of the "Hello" die was colored with the same colors from the flowers.

I finished the card with a few clear jewels on the card front.  Here's one last look:

I hope you like my card for today!  I had so much fun creating with the newest release!  Check it out and be sure to come back every day for more inspiration from the design team.  Thanks for stopping by!

Dainty Fuchsia Stem Hello
by Anne Thompson

Memory Box has a new release:  the 2024 Fuchsia Collection.  You can see it here.  I love everything about this assortment of dies, papers, rub-ons, and embossing folders.  As much as I love the bees and the beetles, I decided to focus on using the Dainty Fuchsia Stem for my first card.  And, of course, I had to use papers from both of the new 6X6 paper pads--Brilliant Fuchsia and Fuchsia Plaid.

Unnamed-8 (1)

materials used from the 2024 Fuchsia Collection

Unnamed-6 (1)

to make this card

  • start with a blank white top-fold A2 note card
  • cover the front with a print paper from the Brilliant Fuchsia paper pad
  • die cut the Dainty Fuchsia Stem using both green plaid and pink plaid papers from the Fuchsia Plaid paper pad
  • assemble the flower bud and the blossom

Unnamed-4 (1)

  • add a white rectangle 3 3/4 X 5 to the card front--I used the Memory Box white woodgrain paper SH44001
  • add the leafy branch to the white panel first, then the flower bud, and finally tuck the stem of the flower under a leaf
  • die cut just the detailed lettering from the Hello Breezy Script set using a scrap of the plaid used for the flower

Unnamed-9 (1)

  • add "Hello" to the open space in the lower left

A lovely card to send this late spring or anytime this summer!

Sensational Gladiola Stem Hello
by Trina Pham

IMG_5689

Hello everyone.  I am sharing a super simple yet dramatic card today.  It features the new Sensational Gladiola Stem die from the current 2024 Gladiola release.  I think that when a product is this beautiful, it doesn’t need much.

The Gladiolas were die cut three times from light green Leafy Greenery and white Bristol papers   Green and dark gray dye inks were applied to the respective pieces with detailed blending brushes to add shading and give dimension.

IMG_5690

Arranged and glued the flowers to an A2 size black panel then lightly splattered with diluted white gouache paint.  The Hello Daily Script sentiment was in my stash.  It had been die cut from black glossy paper and Bristol paper.  Adhered the panel to a white card base to finish.

IMG_5691

Easy-peasy and that was all for my card.  Thank you for joining me today.  Have a wonderful day.

Sitting Sparrow in Blooms
by Trina Pham

IMG_5303

Hello everyone.   With spring about to officially arrive in a few days, I have a spring card to share today featuring the Sitting Sparrow, Clara Blooms, and Berry Branches and Leaves craft dies from last month’s 2024 Spring Cheer collection.

Once again, all pieces were die cut from white.  The sparrow and blooms were ink blended with browns and turquoise dye inks, respectively.  The leaves were colored with Copic Sketch markers (YG07/09, G09, BG05).   Left the berry branches white.

IMG_5304

The background was created by ink blending two gradient colors of green dye inks to give a spotlight effect.  For some interest and texture, splattered it with diluted white and black gouache paint.  Die cut the sentiment from black glossy paper and its shadow from white, then assembled the card onto a white card base to finish.

That does it for my card.   Thank yij for joining me today.  Have a wonderful day.

Easter Hello
by Trina Pham

IMG_5119

Hello everyone.  I’m sharing a circle shaped Easter card today featuring products from the current 2024 Spring Cheer release.

All pieces, including the sentiments, were die cut from white cardstock.  The lamb and flower centers were coloured/shaded with Copic Sketch markers and the rest were ink blended with distress inks (DI).

Copic markers used:
pinks - RV10/21/23
yellows - Y15, V01
whites/shading - T0/1/2/3

DI used:
sky - Tumbled Glass
grass - Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn
basket - see my last card
eggs & Easter sentiment - Shaded Lilac, Faded Jeans
hello sentiment - Black Soot

IMG_5120

The second largest circle die in the Circle Basics set was used to die cut from white cardstock.  Ink blended the grass/sky on it, then glued the elements onto it.  Trimmed off the overhangs before matting it to an Anemone Plaid pattern paper circle.  Mounted the circle to a white circle card base to finish.

That’s it for my card.  Thank you for joining me today.  Have a wonderful day.

Elegant Anemone Hello
by Anne Thompson

For today's card I wanted to highlight the Elegant Anemone die and papers from both Anemone Grove and Anemone Plaid.

materials used

  • ELEGANT ANEMONE 94769
  • HELLO DEBUT SCRIPT 94772
  • ANEMONE GROVE PP1026
  • ANEMONE PLAID PP1025
  • circle dies

to make this card

  • select four coordinating papers from the two paper pads--I used a whole sheet and a scrap of one of the florals and plaid scraps for the other pieces I needed

0-8 (1)

  • begin assembling the front of the card by adding the large floral piece first, then the 1 X 5 1/4 piece, and then the 2 X 3 piece

0-6 (1)

  • add the 1 1/2 X 5 1/4 piece snugged up next to the first strip and covering part of the smaller piece

0-4 (1)

  • next cut some circles using your circle dies--one large circle from white card stock, one slightly smaller from another piece of the floral paper, and one even smaller from white card stock

0-5 (1)

  • die cut the Elegant Anemone from white card stock; use green inks to color the stem and leaf parts and pink to add shading to the flower petals

0-3 (1)

  • take the circles you cut out earlier and ink the edges of the two white ones
  • layer up the three circles and add them to the card front
