Happy Valentine's Day to everyone celebrating today! Here's a basic design to celebrate a special holiday, an engagement, wedding or anniversary. It's easy to create in an array of colors and it's a great way to actually use those papers in the stash. Hi, Jean here after a bit of snow, and wonky internet.
Tiny registration holes on the corners of the Party Confetti Stencil Set make it easy to position the 4 stencils. Just mark the holes with a pencil and line the stencils up as you apply each layer of ink. The stencils are also marked with an A2 card outline for easy aligning.
Cut a 6" square of pink cardstock and stencil it with 3 of the 4 designs in the Party Confetti Stencil set - 2 streamers and one of the confetti. I used a very vintage - but still great - Galaxy Gold Brilliance inkpad. Dry the ink, then cut a section with the 2-3/4" tall Double Stitch Happy Heart Cut Out die. The dies create a stitched outline and solid hearts.
Cut the dark pink and gold-embossed petal print from the Glimmering Gladiola 6x6 set and the bright gold Glitzy Glitter Pad with the same die.
Cut the 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" Wrapped Stitch Rectangle from white cardstock.
Stamp the "love" portion of the birthday love greeting from the Birthday Chic Clear Stamp and Die Set on white cardstock with Rose Bud Memento Luxe. Quickly heat-emboss it with detail clear powder.
Attach everything to a white A6 card (4-1/2" x 6-1/4") - attach the center heart and greeting with foamtape. Add 1/4" circles punched from the bright pink Graceful Garden Glitter Pad 6x6. Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
