Hello there! Michelle here, sharing the newest 2021 Holiday Release.   I used the Gingerbread House Frame Die. It comes with all the accessories you would need to decorate your house. I did add some previously released dies, the Pine Trees from the Pine Tree Collage Die and the deer from the Snowglobe Backer Die.

I due cut all the images using Copic friendly paper and colored with Copic Markers. I used shades R17 R29; BG000 BG11 BG32 BG13;

YG21 YG23 YG25; Y11 Y15; RV10 RV11 RV13; E41 E43 E23 E37 E29. I inked up the background with kitsch flamingo, spun sugar and black soot distress oxide inks. Than I added some paint splatters. I assembled all the die cuts and added Dewdrop Glitter Glue.

I embossed the sentiment with white embossing powder. I used the stamp set Yuletide Moments. I had so much fun creating this Gingerbread House...mess free HAHA!!!

by Sara Cook

It is an exciting day.  I am sharing a preview of the new Christmas release. My favorite time of the year.  There is so many fun dies in this release.  My first holiday card features the Florentina Wreath die.

Florentina Wreath:

Die cut the Florentina Wreath die from heavy cream card stock and from a mid-tone green from Lush Green paper pack.  On the green die cut ink the center with Distress Oxide Ink Rustic Wilderness and then Vintage Photo along the outside and inside of the wreath.  For the cream wreath add dots of Sunlit Gold Fairy Sugar glue to the round berries.  Let dry.

Smooth Pine Cones:

Die cut the smallest Smooth Pine Cones 3 times from a dark brown from Earth Earth paper pack. Glue the pieces together starting from the smallest die and stacking the next die on top. Create 2 pine cones that are longer and 1 shorter pine cone. Shape the pine cones using your fingers.  Apply Distress Grit paste with a pallet knife.  Let dry.

Curled Holly Branch:

Die cut the Curled Holly Branch 3 times from the same mid-tone green from Lush Green paper pack.  Trim 2 of the die cut  branches to remove the last leave and 2 berries.  Save the 3rd die cut to add in leaves and berries as needed.

Die cut the bottom Joy Posh Script die from the rustic orange/red paper from the Glitzy Glitter paper pack.  Add double sided tape behind the gold paper from the Polished Foil paper pack.  Keep the bottom release paper on.  Die cut the top die.   Adhere the top die cut to the bottom die cut.

Trim the light brown and cream plaid paper from the Woodsy Plaid paper pack to 4" x" 51/4".  Adhere to a A2 size front panel from the same dark brown from Earth Earth paper pack used in make the pine cones.  Adhere to a top fold A2 size light brown card.   Glue the green wreath in the center of the card by adding dots of glue to just the center of the wreath.  Glue the cream wreath on top of the green wreath.  Adhere the trimmed Curled Holly branch to the bottom center of the wreath.  Adhere the short pine cone in the bottom center than add the 2 long pine cones on either side.  Adhere the sentiment on the top of the wreath and pine cones.  Add in extra leaves around the sentiment to fill in any empty spaces.  Adhere matching rustic orange/red embellishments from the Treasure Chet Fairy Gemstones. Stamp the inside with May the Magic of the Christmas season fill your heart with Joy from the Yuletide Moments stamp set.

Shaped Flower Thank You Cards
by Sara Cook

Hello everyone! Creating custom thank you cards are such a good way to show how grateful you truly are.  Using the colored paper pad with the flower dies make it simple to create beautiful shaped flowers to accent any card.  Using them on a thank you card just give such special meaning to the recipient.

Watermark test image20210628_174414

Flower Shaping:

I started with bot the Layered Fresh Flowers and Layered Daisies and die cut them out of Vibrant Violet and Sunny Orange.  The 3 shades of the same color in 1 paper helps with creating depth to the flowers. For the Layered Fresh die cuts I added some white highlights with a Posca pen, flicking the pen from the center of the flower toward the middle of the petal.  I spritz the all the die cuts with water, this helps with holding the shape, then shape the flowers petals from the back then turn them over and press down in the center.  Some I layered 3 to 4 flowers other just 2 layers.  Adhering them together with liquid glue.  For the ones that are more shaped I held the flower together until the glue dried. for the Fresh Flowers I added Strawberry Ice glitter glue to the center.  For the Layered Daisies I used a light brown from the Earth Neutral paper pack. I also cut out some foliage from Layered Daisies from Lush Green paper and lightly shaped them as well.

For the sentiment I used the 2nd smallest die from the Matinee Rectangle Layers and die cut out from the darkest in color in the colors used for the flowers. I stamped and heat embossed the Thank You sentiment from the Peony Garden Corner stamp set. I chose white embossing powder for the flowers from Vibrant Violets paper and gold for flowers from Sunny Orange paper pack.

Card Base:

For the card base I used the new woodgrain paper and die cut it out using the Pinpoint Burst Plate to give it some organic texture. The Vibrant Violet colors I used white woodgrain paper and the Sunny Orange I used kraft woodgrain. I ink blended with making colors swirling out from the center out, going lighter the further away from center.

Assembly and Accents:

The card base is adhered to a A2 size card. I adhere the sentiment with foam tape over the center of the PinPoint Burst.  Then adhered the flowers around the sentiment.  For the Layered Daisies I added Layered Daisies foliage die cuts.  To bring in some sparkle I added Clear Jewels colored with alcohol markers to match the color scheme.

I Think of You - Ocean Themed Card - Video
by Angie Cimbalo

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today with an ocean-themed card featuring brand new dies from the 2021 Under the Sea release.  This release is full of amazing new ocean themed dies, shape dies, new 3D embossing folders, woodgrain paper, and a new line of self-adhesive gems/droplets.  For my card I used several of the ocean themed dies along with self-adhesive clear droplets - which come in a handy 3 size pack!

Here's a quick video showing how I made my card:

Here's a close up view:

I used a lot of ink blending and smooshing to make this card and I love how the clear droplets take on the color under them, so they will match any project you use them on!
The sentiment is from the Birch Press Designs set "Crystal Lingo," heat embossed on black card stock.
Here's one last look:
I hope you like my card!  I had so much fun creating it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

More Slimline Florals with Plaids
by Anne Thompson

I continued this week to work with lots of plaid papers to create interesting layered backgrounds for some slimline cards that feature the largest florals from ALL THE HAPPINESS CL5265-D clear stamps and dies set.

Card One

Here are the materials I used.

Card Two

Here are the materials I used.

Card Three

Here are the materials I used.

This style of card is perfect to send any time and for any occasion.  I know one will become a birthday card with the smaller flower cluster from All The Happiness stamped inside with a sentiment and handwritten note.  The green plaid one will be sent as a St. Patrick's Day card with an Irish blessing written inside.

Spring arrives on the coming weekend and Easter shortly after that on April 4th.  Time to get those Easter cards made!  Let's see what I come up with for next Monday!

Happy Crafting!

Sending Love Along the Way by Sara Cook

Hi everyone!  I have a Valentine's scene card.  This can be for any loved one on Valentine's Day.

Watermark test image20210118_175615

Card Base:

The card base will be A2 size out of white card stock.  Cut light blue and light pick card stock to 4"x51/4".  Die cut the 2nd largest Double Stitch Loving Heart out of the light pink card stock, centering the die in the lower half of the paper.

Die cut Woodland Heart Frame tree die out of cream card stock.  Color the edges of the trees with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink.  Drag some of the color across the trees randomly to create the bark of the birch tree.

Die cut Wild Grass Border out of green card stock.  From the Neighborhood Heart Frame, die cut the bicycle from red card stock and balloon hearts from red and pink paper.  Use a black ink pen to color the tires on the bicycle.  Add Ruby Crystal glitter glue to the red hearts and Berry Mist glitter glue to the pink hearts.

Glue the birch tree to the blue background paper, making sure it is centered to the heart cut out in the pink paper. Glue the grass on top of the tree die cut.  Glue the glitter heart balloons on the grass and then glue the bicycle.  Always making sure the die cuts can be seen through the heart window in the pink paper.

Add double sided tape to the back of the pink card stock and place on top of the blue card stock, centering the heart over the scene.  Adhere to the white card base leaving the 1/8" boarder.

Die cut the Sending Love out of red card stock and add Rubber Crystal glue on top.  Once the glitter glue is dried adhere to the top portion of the card.

Big Hugs & Sweet Bay Collage Dies
by Angie Cimbalo

Main 1

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today with a clean and simple card using some of the newly released dies along with the Memory Box "Pinpoint Burst Plate" die. Here's another look at my card:

Main left

Here's how I made my card:
1) I took a A2 white card stock panel and die cut it with the "Pinpoint Burst Plate", then adhered it to a A2 card base.
2) Using another piece of card stock I die cut the "Sweet Bay Collage" die, which cuts the negative out of the background and not around the edges of the circle.
3) I only wanted to use a portion of the cut "Sweet Bay Collage" die panel, so I die cut it with a stitched circle off center.
4) I put down 3 colors of Distress Oxide inks on my gel plate and used a brayer to spread the ink around, then added my circle die cut.
5) Once it dried, I added colored pencils and some white gel pen accents
6) I glued it to the card base, then after cutting several of the word dies and stacking them, I added that to the center slightly under one of the leaves.
7) Lastly, I added a few drops of Memory Box "Dragonfly Fairy Sugar" to the card front.

Here's one last look at my card:

Main rt

I hope you enjoyed my card for today. I had lots of fun creating it with die cuts and playing with my gel plate, too!
Be sure to check out the lovely new dies in the 2021 Valentine's release.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

NEW RELEASE! Heart Pop Up Card by Sara Cook

Having fun with the new Valentine's releases. I have a project today inspired by my daughter wanting a surprise on the inside of the card.  It is a pop up card featuring the new Crystal Heart die.

Pop Up Heart:

Take 140lb Open Studio watercolor paper.  Spray with water then lightly with ink sprays.  I used pink and purple Dylusions spray by Ranger.  Let dry and then die cut a heart using the 2nd largest of the Double Stitched Loving Heart Cut Out. Cut out the Crystal Heart die out of a darker color paper that matches the background heart.  Glue together.  Add some Drewdrop Fairy Sugar glitter glue to some of the open areas and then Glossy Accents to other areas, leaving some areas blank.

Die cut the Big Hugs Scrip foreground die out of the sprayed watercolor paper and the background out of the same dark purple paper used for the Crystal Heart outline.  Glue together.

Die cut a lighter color purple paper using the Pinpoint Burst Plate.  Die cut a circle opening using the 24x24 Stitched Circle Layer die centering it over the burst. Save the cut out circle. Die cut a frame using the 28x28 and 24x24 Stitched Circle Layer dies out of the same dark purple paper.  Take a A2 size card base and temporary tape the Pinpoint Burst base on the outside.  To cut out the circle add temporary tape on back of the saved circle cut out and put back in the center.  Remove the Pinpoint Burst panel., leaving the circle die cut.  Line up the 24x24 circle die over the cut out circle.  Unfold the card so only the front panel will be cut through and die cut. Glue the Pinpoint Burst panel back on the front along with the frame and sentiment.

Inside Sentiment:

Use the "Sending" stamp from the Big and Little Words and "all my love" from the Big and Little Valentines to stamp the inside sentiment.  I used Monarch VersaFine Clair ink.

Cut out a strip of paper 1/2"x31/2".  At one end score at 1/2" and add glue to just the 1/2"score . Place the strip of paper w/glue side up on inside of the card half way down from the opening and close the card until glue dries.  Glue the Crystal Heart on the strip centering it in the circle frame.  Trim off any excess paper on the right side of the heart.  Cut another strip of paper 1/2"x2 1/2". Score every 1/2".   Fold on all score marks.  Glue one end on top of the other forming a box. Add glue to 1 side of the box and place behind the heart. Fold down the box and on the opposite side (from the side glued to the heart) add glue and fold card closed to glue to back of card.  Cut random heart sizes from the sprayed watercolor paper using the Sprinkle Heart Collage.  Glue around the inside for more love.
