Merry Christmas with Holly Wreath
by Angie Cimbalo

MB green wreath version

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today with a foiled card using the wreath stencil from the latest release.

First, I got all my supplies ready:

IMG_4035

  1. Use the Duo transfer gel on the rectangle die cut and set the panel off to dry for at least one hour, then
  2. Be careful, the dried gel is very sticky and you can get anything stuck to it!
  3. Using a foiling machine (I use a mini Minc machine, you can also use a laminator.) run it through the machine shiny side up.  I used a emerald watercolor foil from Deco Foil.
  4. Wait for it to cool off and then peel off foil to reveal your pretty foiled wreath
  5. Glue wreath panel to plaid panel
  6. Glue plaid panel to card base
  7. Glue sentiment circle to gold circle
  8. Glue or pop up circle sentiment to center

Snowy Cabin Christmas Card
by Sara Cook

Hi everyone!  I have a Christmas Scene card featuring the A Frame House die set.

D1F2422D-6816-47E9-A43D-6E7A46BA6586

Background:

Trim a light blue paper from the Lagoon paper pad to 4" x 51/4" .  Apply a thin layer of white Gesso to the top of the Snowflake Hot Foil Plate.  Place the paper on top of the foil plate and run through the die cutting machine as a normal foil plate without adding heat.  The image should emboss in white on the paper.  Let dry.  Adhere to a A2 panel from Cherry Red paper.  Trim a piece of white glitter paper from the Festive Glitter paper to 1.5" strip of paper. Adhere to the bottom of the panel.

House:

Die cut the A Frame House die set from heavy white card stock.  Ink blend the pieces using Distress ink using Weathered Wood for the house, Gathered Twigs for the roof, Hickory Smoke for the chimney.  Die cut the door fromCherry Red paper and add shadows with Aged Mahogany ink.  Adhere the door to vellum and add Distress Grit paste Snow Fall to the window corners and the roof top.  Let dry.  Lightly add some Grint Paste Opaque to the top of the other grit paste.  Add a dark red Fairy Jewel from the Christmas pack as a door handle.  Die cut the wreath out of light and dark green paper from the Lush paper pad.  Ink blend with Bundled Sage and Rustic Wilderness.  Adhere on top of the door.  Add red Fairy Jewel from the Christmas pack around the wreath.

Trees:

Die cut the Slender Pine Trees and Layered Narrow Pines from light, medium and dark green paper from the Lush paper pad.  Ink blend with Bundled Sage, Pine Needles and Rustic Wilderness. Adhere together.  Repeat the process for the grit paste, using your fingers to add a heavy amount of the Snow Fall and let dry.  Then add the opaque grit paste to your finger and lightly tap over the dried clear grit paste.

Assembly:

Adhere the panel to a A2 size card.  Adhere some of the trees to the top of the glitter paper then adhere the house in the center.  Adhere 2 of the trees to either side of the house.  Adhere the Merry Christmas Merry and Bright Foil Banner White tab just above the house in the center of the card.

Anemone Bird House
by Trina Pham

IMG_4946

Hello everyone.  It may be Valentine’s Day, but my card is not. 😂   I have a simple card with all the spring feels to share today using  Anemone Blooms and Elegant Anemone dies from the Anemone collection with the Woodgrain Bird House and Leaf Bunches  dies from the 2023 Christmas collection.

All pieces were die cut from white cardstock paper and ink blended with dye inks using blending brushes.  Wilted Violet and Stormy Sky distress inks (DI) were used for the anemone flowers, Black Soot DI was used for shading on the bird house and two gradient green color dye inks from Altenew were used for the leaf bunches.

IMG_4958

Trimmed a 3/8” strip from white woodgrain paper for the bird house post and added shading to it as well using Black Soot DI.  Lightly ink blended Milled Lavender DI to the bottom of an A2 size Bristol panel before assembling the card onto a white card base.  I was going to leave the card blank, but went digging in my bits bag and found this Poppy Stamp gold foil Modest Greetings 1 sentiment that works nicely for many occasions.

IMG_4959

Well, that does it for my card.  Get ready for a brand new release tomorrow.  Thank you for joining me today.  Have a wonderful day.

Merry Christmas with Poinsettia Rub-Ons
by Angie Cimbalo

1

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today with a quick and easy Christmas card using items from the newest 2023 Christmas release.  These beautiful watercolored poinsettias and leaves and berries are all from the new "Poinsettia Rub-On's" and they are so gorgeous especially in real life.

I filled the card front with different images and I must say the Memory Box rub-ons are the easiest I have ever used.  They rub on easily and don't tear making them turn out beautifully!

Once I had all the rub ons in place, I added one of the new ST1003 Merry Christmas Foil Greeting Black Tabs.  These are thick pre-printed, foiled sentiments that are gorgeous and have the Merry Christmas sentiment in many different type fonts so you can find just the look you want for your cards.

Here's a closer look at my card:

Lastly I added a few gold jewels from the Christmas Fairy Jewel pack to the card front.  I hope you like my card and check out all the new goodies in the release.  There are dies, embossing folders, stamps, some beautiful papers along with the products I used for today's card.  Come back each day for more inspiration from the design team.

Gracious Floral Birthday
by Trina Pham

IMG_2488

Hello everyone.  I needed a birthday card and created this simple card using all three products from the June 2023 Gracious Floral collection.

The floral image was stamped with Fade Out ink on white cardstock for a no-line coloring look.  Used the coordinating stencils and a couple of gradient dye ink colors in blue, green and gray to color the image.  Die cut the image out with the coordinating die next, then ran it through the die cutting machine in the coordinating embossing folder.

IMG_2489

Cut the image apart into two, adhered on opposite corners on a white woodgrain panel, and trimmed off the overhangs.  The sentiment from Poppy Stamps Modest Greetings 1 Hot Foil Plate & Die was hot foiled with gold foil.  Die cut it out with the rectangle strip die included in the set and matte it to gold Vintage Pastel mirror cardstock.  Assembled the card to finish.

That does it for my card.  Thank you for joining me today.  Have a wonderful day.

Haunting Witch Hat
by Trina Pham

IMG_1946

Hello everyone.  I have a simple Halloween card to share featuring the Large Layered Witch Hat die from the current 2023 Fall release.

The hat/shadow pieces were die cut from dark grey cardstock while the band was die cut from light grey cardstock.  For dimension, the hat/shadow pieces were shaded with dark grey and black dye inks using a detail foam blending tool.  Dimension for the band was achieved by die cutting it out a couple more times and stacking them together.  Assembled the hat then spritz with a shimmer spray for a bit of sparkle.

IMG_1947

The background is purple cardstock hot foiled with White Opaque hot foil and the Spiral hot foil plate using Spellbinders Glimmer hot foil machine.  To enhance the tunnel-like effect, the spotlight ink blending technique was done with Villainous Potion distress ink (DI) blended around the center (center left untouched) and Black Soot DI blended around the edges.  The sentiment was white heat embossed on black cardstock then fussy cut out.   Assembled the card onto a split black/white card base.  Added some purple Autumn Fairy Crystals to finish.

IMG_1948

I can create Christmas cards any time of the year, but Halloween cards in July was a tough one for me. 😂   Thank you for joining me today.   Have a wonderful week.

Hello Magnolia Card
by Donna Sledzik

IMG_4940

Hello everyone!  Here's another card for you today featuring new products from the Magnolia Release.

IMG_4942

I began by die cutting one of the Curved Pinpoint Layers from patterned paper.  I glued it in the center of a white cardstock panel.  Next, I adhered it to a black cardstock mat and glued it to a white card base.

I die cut the Magnolia Blooming Bud from white cardstock, and used Distress Oxide Inks to add color to them.

IMG_4938 (1)

IMG_4939

I glued the die cuts together and used foam tape to adhere the flower to the card.

I hot foiled the word Hello and used foam tape to adhere it to the card.

Next, I spattered the card with gold ink and added some fairy crystals to add a little bling.

That's it for today!  Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Rectangle Duo Border Birthdays
by Trina Pham

084B10E5-E88E-4534-90E0-233054CE56B9
Hello and happy Easter!  No Easter card today.  Instead I used the Rectangle Duo Border hot foil plate two ways to create two simple birthday cards.

EE667BAA-F7F6-479F-91C6-3B4353DAC905

On this first card, the hot foil plate foiled the double line frame as it is intended using gold hot foil.

7713338A-02CC-43F0-8869-A04073B56DBE

The peonies were die cut from white cardstock and colored with Shaded Lilac distress ink using a finger blending brush.  The leaves were colored with YG61, YG63 and YG67 Copic Sketch markers.  For some sparkle, spritz the peonies with a shimmer spray.

AE7EE3BD-92F5-4D68-B042-CDE2302BE2F2

On the second card, the hot foil plate was flipped and the backside was foiled resulting in a thick solid frame.  It doesn’t foil as cleanly and it took a few tries to get this result… but it worked and is one way to stretch your hot foil plate.  😉

ABBA7439-1CD3-4E57-AC7A-B2A36E7B28E5

Kept it really simple as a masculine card and did some partial hot foiling with the Confetti Dot hot foil plate.  Heat embossed the sentiments with gold embossing powder on both cards to finish.

6F6A87B3-CBE0-47AE-9131-94D2702B6B69

No matter what I tried, I could not get another decent photo of the confetti card. 🤷🏻‍♀️   Anyway. Thank you for joining me today.  Have a wonderful day.
