Layered Friendly Snowman - and a glittery star - shine over the new Aurora Snowflake Cling Stamp background. Hi, Jean here sharing a frosty winter scene with a mix of opposites - big snowflakes and a little snowman.
Prep light teal cardstock with the embossing powder tool to eliminate stray flecks of powder. Stamp the Aurora Snowflake Cling Stamp image with VersaMark and heat-emboss the design with detail white embossing powder. Trim it with the largest A2 Rectangle Frames die. Attach it to a top-folded white cardlayered friendly snowman
Cut Layered Friendly Snowman, the hat and scarf from colorful cardstock - white, light teal, medium teal, aqua, red, orange and kraft. Attach a scrap of black cardstock behind the eyes. This set also includes other dies for added dimension. He also has two arm pairs to chose from!
Attach adhesive label paper or a sticker sheet to white wool-blend felt and cut the hat cuff and pompom. The paper backing stabilizes the felt and keeps adhesives from saturating it.
Cut a star from a gold Festive Glitter Pad sheet with a star from the Starry Collage die. Cut a sliver of medium teal cardstock for the star's hanger.
Stamp the greeting - from the new Shining Star Clear Stamp Set - on white cardstock with Warm Breeze VersaFine Clair. Dry the ink, then cut the cardstock with the 2.75" x 4" A2 Rectangle Frames Die.
Attach the snowman - without adhering his right arm - to the rectangle. Attach the star and hanger to the background. Glue the right arm to the background.
Add clear Christmas Fairy Dewdrops. Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
The 6x6" of the Aurora Snowflake Cling Stamp makes it user-friendly and versatile for different card shapes and sizes. It also creates an assortment of snowflakes to diecut individually - or in groups - for your holiday cards.
