Hi everyone! I have another card using new products from the 2023 Memory Box Spring Release. I love the pattern on the new Curlicue Die Plate and thought I would try it using Simon Hurley's Stamping Foam.
I heated the circle stamping foam with a heat tool and quickly pressed it into the die. Next, I inked the foam with dye inks and misted it lightly with water to stamp it onto watercolor paper.
The stamped image looks like a watercolor painting. I dry embossed the circle frame around the stamped image using the largest circle from the circle die set and followed the directions on my die cutting machine for embossing with a die.
The leaves were die cut from green cardstock and inked with Rustic Wilderness Distress ink, then glued in place on the card.
I die cut the word hugs from white cardstock and the shadow from black cardstock. I used foam tape to glue the word to the card.
Next I glued the card front to a black cardstock mat and adhered it to a white card base.
To finish the card, I added some fairy crystals to add a little shine.
That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by.

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today with my last Valentine's Day card before the big day! Here's a closer look at my card:
My background paper is dark gray and white polka dot and on top of that I have put the following die cuts:
1) Pinpoint Burst Heart die cut from white card, inked with like pink ink in the center
2) Lux Peony cut from several shades of gray from the Earth Tones paper pad and the Delicate Pastel Glitter paper pad
Here's a close up look at both of the die cuts:
The sentiment is from Big and Little Words stamp set stamped and heat embossed on the same dotted paper.
Lastly I added a few jewels to the sentiment from the Christmas Jewels pack. Here's a last look.
I hope you like my card for today and I hope you've had time and fun creating Valentine's Day card for 2023!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello everyone! I have another Valentine's Day card for you featuring products from the 2023 Valentine's Day release.
I did a faux letterpress technique using the Blissful Heart Hot Foil die. This is a good example of using dies other than what they were intended for.
To do this technique I used a brayer to apply Red Archival ink to the die and placed a piece of watercolor paper on top of the die. Next, I ran this through my die cutting machine following the instructions for embossing.
I used one of the hearts from the Double Stitch Loving Heart die set to die cut the letterpress heart.
I die cut the Pinpoint Leaf Plate on a white cardstock panel and adhered it to a red cardstock mat. This was glued to a white note card.
To create the strip behind the heart, I applied double stick to a white cardstock strip of paper and glued strips of cardstock to it. This is a great way to use scraps of cardstock. I glued this to the center of the card and used foam tape to adhere the letterpress heart to the card.
Next, I white heat embossed the words Hugs and Kisses to a strip of black cardstock and used foam tape to adhere it to the center of the heart.
To finish the card I added some Clear Fairy Drops and that's it!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Add a glossy pressure-and heat-embossed Blissful Heart to your Valentines with the new hot foil plate. It's a quick and easy way to highlight the beautiful details of this versatile die - without foil, for a different look. Hello, Jean Okimoto here with a fresh pink greeting for a coffee-lover.
Spray 2 light spritzes of water onto each side of textured pink cardstock. It softens the cardstock and preps it for pressure embossing. Place the Blissful Heart Hot Foil Plate face-down onto the textured side of the moist cardstock. Pressure-emboss it using the rubber embossing mat and plates required for your machine.
Briefly heat-set the cardstock if it's still damp, then let it cool. Place it on a hard, flat surface and brayer it with VersaMark - use a clean, juicy inkpad. Heat-emboss it with detail clear powder.
Let it cool, then trim it asymmetrically with the second-largest Double Stitch Loving Heart Cut Out die.
Prep the detailed Cuppa Love die by rubbing it briskly with scrunched waxed paper to help release the little pieces. Cut it from the smoother side of Open Studio Watercolor Paper. Cut the side of the cup from the textured pink cardstock. Cut the coffee oval from dark brown cardstock. Cut the interior of the heart from a pink sheet in the Graceful Garden Glitter Pad.
Prep the Sending Love Posh Script die with waxed paper and diecut it from a white glittered sheet in the Delicate Pastels Glitter Pad - leave the tiny dot for the "i" in the die until you need it.
Attach the diecuts to a side-folded recycled Kraft A2 card.
Memory Box Hot Foil Plates create beautifully foiled detailed images. They're also great with just basic pressure embossing for a subtle monochromatic look. Or follow this technique for glossy, highlighted designs.
Thanks for visiting - have a great weekend!

Hello and welcome! I have 2 cards made from one embossed panel as shown above!
I took the Memory Box "Blooming" 3D embossing folder and a Tim Holtz brayer and Versamark Ink and inked up the debossed side of the folder and ran it through my die cutting machine. I used the "Fresh Aqua Collection" paper pad and chose a dark teal card stock. Then I put clear embossing powder on it and heating it with my heat gun.
Next I used a dauber to add white ink to the raised areas. Here's a look at the finished embossed panel.
Next I took scissors and cut it into 2 sections as seen below:
I trimmed down the panels to fit on the sides of card bases and created two cards.
Here's a look at card number one:
The sentiment for both card is the brand new "For You Posh Script" cut from white and from the darkest teal paper from the Vintage Pastel Mirror. Here's a close up look at card number one:
Here's a look at the second card:
And here's a close up look at second card:
I love it when you can make two cards with one panel! And I really love how these turned out. The "Blooming 3D" embossing folder is one my all time favorites and it goes perfectly with the newly released word die.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

The new Blissful Heart Hot Foil Plate is a hardworking multi-tasker that's also perfect for embossing the beautiful botanical design. It's double-embossed here - pressure-embossed, then heat-embossed to highlight the delicate details. Hi, Jean Okimoto here with a slimline Valentine design for you.
Cut the smoother side of Open Studio Watercolor Paper with the largest Double Stitch Loving Heart Cut Out. Lightly spritz both sides of the heart 4 times - from about 12" away. Let the paper absorb the water for about 30 seconds then place the smoother side of the heart onto the Blissful Heart Foil Plate and pressure-emboss it. Use the rubber embossing mat and plates required for your machine.
Place the embossed heart on a smooth, hard surface and use a brayer or the direct-to-paper technique to ink the entire design with picked raspberry Distress Oxides. Quickly heat-emboss it with Imagine's Iridescent Embossing Powder for a sparkly, glittery, glossy look.
Use a blending brush or sponge dauber to ink the edges of the heart with picked raspberry. Sprinkle the embossing powder along the edges and heat-emboss it.
Cut the "love" portion of the Sending Love Daily Script from dark gray and bright pink cardstock - save the little pieces in the "ove." Attach the greeting to the Blissful Heart with a liquid adhesive - I used the original Tacky Glue.
Cut bright pink cardstock with the 1-⅛" x 6-¼" Slim Basic Rectangle Layers die. Cut two strips of the silver 6x6 in the Delicate Pastel Mirror Pad with the smallest slim rectangle die.
Attach the diecuts to a card of Creme Woodgrain cardstock (3-⅝" x 8-½") - use foamdots for the heart. Add the lightest Winter Fantasy Fairy Gemstones. Cut a slimline-sized rectangle of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
Thanks for visiting - see you again on Sunday...

Hello everyone. I have a tweet 😉 CAS (clean and simple) card to share today using a few new products from the new 2023 Valentine’s release along with some previously released ones.
The background was from my stash and it was dry embossed with the Pinpoint Burst Plate die. The new Pinpoint Burst Heart was die cut from Bristol paper and from thick white paper to stack for dimension. The back layer of the Layered Birds was die cut from Vibrant Violet paper while the top layer was die cut from white cardstock. Colored the top layer by ink blending Picked Raspberry and Milled Lavender distress inks (DI). The Woodland Branch was die cut from gray cardstock and shading added with a C4 Copic Sketch marker.
The small heart was die cut from the Delicate Pastel Glitter paper pack using the new Heart Ring Stack die. The sentiment is Bristol paper die cut with the new Sending Love Daily Script die set. Flipped the “n” upside down for the “u”. To match the birds, ink blended Milled Lavender and Seedless Preserves DI on these letters, then heat embossed with clear glitter embossing powder for more sparkle. Assembled the card onto a white card base, then dotted the birds’ eyes with a black pen to finish.
