Boo to You - Witch Hat

1

Hello and welcome!  It's Angie here today with some card inspiration for you using the newest release "Large Layered Witch Hat."  I combined it with "Ghosts in the Forest" die set and a fun Halloween sentiment, "Boo Posh Script."  Here's another look at my card.

1

To make the forest look thicker I cut the die twice and turned one around backwards and put it behind the 1st one.  After gluing them together, I die cut the sentiment and hat from Memory Box card stock, listed below.  For the background I used more Memory Box card stock and the "Confetti Dot Hot Foil Plate" foiled in Gemini Aurora foil.  That foil is a kind of pearly white color and looks really pretty on dark card stock.  I added the forest panels on top of the hot foiled panel.

I tucked one of the ghosts under some branches, added the sentiment in the bottom right corner, and added the hat towards the top left.

Lastly I added some silver gems on the front, also listed below in the supply list.

I hope you like my card for today.  I had lots of fun creating it!  Be sure to come back each day for more inspiration from the design team.  If you are interested in the supplies I used, they are listed below, and there is more info on my blog HERE.  Thanks for stopping by!

You Did Good with Gracious Floral
by Angie Cimbalo

You did good main

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today with this pretty floral card featuring the new "Gracious Floral" collection of products.

To make my card I first used a brayer to added Distress Ink to the new 3D embossing folder then embossed a piece of white card stock.  I put the ink on the debossed side, so the floral image came out mostly white.  I cleaned my embossing folder and then embossed another plain white piece of card stock.  Next, I used the stencils and ink daubers to color the embossed image on the plain white card stock with Distress Inks.  Once I was happy with the colors, I took the large coordinating die from the stamp set and cut out the colored floral and added it to the top of the first one, covering up the mostly white flower.

The sentiment is a stamp and die in the Gracious Floral set and I heat embossed it in white on black card stock and used the die to cut it out.

Here's another look:

Autumn Pumpkin Cards
by Angie Cimbalo

Turq main cloase

Hello!  Today I have two cards made with the newly released "Autumn Pumpkin" and "Layered Greenery Stem" dies sets from Memory Box.

My first card is in non-traditional fall colors as I made this card using some papers in my favorite shades.  I used "Delicate Pastel Glitter" paper pad along with the "Rainbow Reflections Mirror" paper pad and cut both sets of dies from the turquoise colors.  The greenery stems are cut so you can layer a dark and light on the right side or the left depending on the die.  This gives them lots of dimension.  Here's another look:

Turq main cloase

I didn't have the exact ink color to stamp the sentiment so I double stamped it using a green and a blue ink from my stash to get it as close as I could.  The sentiment is from a clear stamps set called "Halloween Pumpkins" also from Memory Box.  I finished this card by adding a few matching gems.  Here's one last look:

Turq main cloase

Now for my 2nd card I used a more traditional color palette.  This time I used the following paper pads:
"Rainbow Reflections"
"Sunny Days" and
"Lush Green"

I also used the Hot Foil plate "Rectangle Double Border" as a die to cut the thin black border frame.

I used both larger and smaller gems and jewels in fall colors and stamped the sentiment from the same "Halloween Pumpkins" stamp set in black ink.  Here's a closer look.

I layered the stem and leaves with the regular green card stock and the mirror card stock to give a cool effect.  Here's one last look.

I hope you like my cards for today and will check out this release.  There's some adorable dies you can use for fall and Halloween cards as well as everyday cards too.

Gold & Plaid Gracious Floral Collection
by Angie Cimbalo

So kind main

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today!   I have this fun plaid "Thank You" card I made for a friend using the newly released "Gracious Floral" products.

To make my card I took the center floral die and cut it from a piece of polished gold paper that was attached to a piece of card stock.  That paper is quite thin so to get a deeper impression later when I emboss it, I want it to be thicker.  After the shape was cut out, I opened the 3D embossing folder and ran it through my die cutting machine.  It gave the flower lovely dimension as you can see in the picture below.

I cut a piece of plaid paper to add the the bottom of the card base and then topped it with a thin strip of gold and another thin strip of black card stock.  The sentiment from the Gracious Floral stamp set, was heat embossed in white on black card stock.  I added the gold flower and sentiment to the card with foam tape and glue.  Here's another look:

So kind close

I made one more card using the Memory Box papers and the gold polished foil and here it is:

Gold hugs

The paper is from the Magnolia Grove and I used the large floral die from the stamp set to cut the image out and then ran it through my die cutting machine with the 3D embossing folder.  The sentiment is a 2 piece die called Hugs Tender Script.  It's so shiny in real life!

I hope you like my cards for today.  I really like how it turned out.  Be sure to come back tomorrow for some more inspiration!

Just For You on Gray
by Angie Cimbalo

Just for you main

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today!   I have another fun card made with the new Memory Box June release called Gracious Floral.  It includes coordinating 3D embossing folder, dies, stamps and stencils.

To make my card I first embossed a piece of light gray card stock with the new 3D embossing folder and then used the stencils and ink daubers to color the image with Distress Inks.  Once I was happy with the colors, I took the large coordinating die from the stamp set and cut out the gray panel.  I cut a 2nd one from a piece of A2 card stock, and inserted the colored one into the opening.

The sentiment is a stamp and die in the Gracious Floral set and I heat embossed it in white on black card stock and used the die to cut it out.

Here's another look:

Just for you close

I added that whole panel to a white card base and then added white gel pen accents, black dots to tiny flower centers and then added small jewels from the Christmas Jewels set.  Here's one last look:

Just for you 1

I hope you like my card for today, I really enjoyed creating it.  Be sure to come back tomorrow to see more inspiration from the design team!  Happy crafting my friends!

Just For You
by Angie Cimbalo

Not stamped main

Hello and welcome!  I have two similar cards made with the new mini release from Memory Box.  In this release there is a large floral 3D embossing folder with single floral die, a coordinating stamp set and die set, along with stencils that help you color the large image.

This first card was created by embossing the image, stenciling the colors on the embossed areas, then using the large die from the stamp set to cut it out.  Next I cut the center flower out with the small die that comes in the embossing folder and a second one from white and stacked them, colored one on top.  I put the whole large image back into the embossing folder to embossed it again as it had slightly flattened when I die cut it.  I glued the yellow stacked flower on top of the center and then popped the whole large image up on the card front.

Not stamped close

Lastly I added the sentiment, which is from the stamp/die set which I heat embossing in white on black card, and I added a few jewels too.  Here's one last look:

Not stamped 1

Now for the 2nd card, which looks very similar, here are the steps I used to make it.  First I stamped the large image and colored it with the stencils.  Next I cut out the center flower using the small die included in the embossing folder.  Then I die cut the entire image with the large die from the stamp set.  I added the image to the embossing folder after I colored it.  On this card, I did the same thing with the center flower, cut one extra from white card to stack under the colored one.  Just like on the other card, I popped it up and added jewels around the card front.

Magnolia Rub-Ons Sending Love & Hugs
by Angie Cimbalo

Special hugs main

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today using the newly release Magnolia Rub-Ons.  My first card uses the rub-ons with the Marvelous Magnolia 3D embossing folder with the 3 coordinating cutting dies.  I first dry embossed the white card panel and then added the rub-on on top of it.  Next I cut all three flowers out with the coordinating dies.  After that, the embossing was kind of flattened out, so I carefully laid all 3 cut flowers into the embossing folder right on top of the flower in the folder and re-ran it through my die cutting machine to get a nice deep embossed look.  To get more dimension, I cut a plain white one of each of the three flowers and glued the rub-on cut one to it so it would appear higher and thicker on the card front.

The frame for it was made with 2 of the Curved Cap Pinpoint Layers Dies 94646.  First I took the mirror card stock and embossed it with the same embossing folder, then cut the frame uses 2 of the curved cap dies at the same time.  This cut a real thin pretty frame for my flowers.  I tucked the flowered in the frame and then added the sentiment from All the Happiness CL5265, and some Christmas jewels.  Here's one last look at card #1:

Special hugs main

I also created a 2nd card with the rub-ons, and the curved cap dies.

Special hugs main

This time I used the curved cap dies to create my shaped card base.  I did this by die cutting a folded A2 card base but made sure the top of the die hangs off the edge of the card so it doesn't cut the top part of the card.  After it was cut I added the rub-ons directly onto the card front and then added the sentiment from the Berry Wreath stamp set, that was heat embossed in white on black card stock.  Here's one last look:

I hope you like my cards for today!  I had a lot of fun creating with the new Magnolia release.  Be sure to check out all the supplies I used.  If you like to use my affiliate links, please visit my blog HERE.

Hugs with Magnolias
by Angie Cimbalo

Hugs plaid main

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today with 2 cards featuring products from the newest Magnolia release.  My first card was made with the Marvelous Magnolia 3D embossing folder with matching cutting dies along with plaid paper from the new Magnolia 6X6 paper pack.  I also used the Curved Cap Pinpoint Layers to create my card base shape and to cut the plaid paper.  Once it was cut I added the embossed, die-cut flowers and the Hugs Daily Script.  Here's another look at my first card:

Hugs plaid close

For my second card I used the embossing folder on some silver mirror card stock from the Vintage Pastel Mirror card stock.  Here's a look:

Hug silver 1

I used the same Curved Cap dies on both the plaid and the silver papers.  Just be sure you cut the shape first and then do the embossing.  If you forget you can always put the embossed paper back in the folder, being careful to match up the pattern and run it through your die cutting/embossing machine a second time.  I added a few gems to both cards to finish them off.

Here's one last look:

I hope you like my cards for today!  I had a lot of fun creating with the new Magnolia products, be sure to check them all out HERE!

Birthday Card with Marvelous Magnolia 3D Embossing Folder
by Angie Cimbalo

Pink close

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today with a clean and simple birthday card featuring the new Marvelous Magnolia 3D embossing folder and coordinating die set.  For my card I only used the embossing folder and not the dies.

Here's a closer look at my card:

Pink close

To make my card I took dotted rectangle die and cut it from thick white card stock and then I put it in the embossing folder and ran it through my Platinum 6 machine.  Next on the debossed side, I added Distress Oxide Spun Sugar ink directly to the paper.  That left the flower petals and the leaves white so to add color to the leaves I used a Spectrum Noir clear sparkle pen with smooshed in from my mini Distress Oxide Evergreen Bough ink pad.  I smooshed it on my glass mat and picked up the ink with the sparkle brush to add it to the debossed leaves.  Here's another look:

Pink too light?

The sentiment is from the "Signature Greetings" stamp and die set (CL5272), heat embossed in white on black card stock.

Here's one last look:

Pink too light?

I love the way this turned out, very simple and elegant and the pink and green combination with the pop of black and white go together so nicely.  Hope you like my card for today!
