by Sara Cook

Hi everyone.  I have another card using the Heritage Rectangle Frame die set.  This time I use the Rectangle Basics to turn it into an actual frame for fuchsias

Background and Frame:

Die cut the largest die from the Heritage Rectangle die set from heavy white card stock.  Then take the 3rd largest die from the Rectangle Basics set and die cut to create the frame.  Add some thin strips of foam tape on the backside of the frame.  Trim the hot pink paper with the white floral patterned from the Brilliant Fuchsia pack to A2 size.

Flowers:

Die cut the Lavish Fuchsia Stem die set from heavy white card stock.  Ink blend with Distress Oxide inks in  Bundled Sage, Spun Sugar, and Shaded Lilac.  Adhere together using the envelope as a guide.

Wildflower Wishes
by Angie Cimbalo

IMG_6140

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today with a pretty wildflower card made with goodies from some of the latest releases.

Here's a closer look at my card:

IMG_6143

To create my card I took a piece of turquoise card stock and stamped the Wildflower Field background stamp CS2086 in Versamark ink and then heat embossed it with copper/gold embossing powder.  Next I colored the image with Zig Clean Color markers, a gold and a white paint pen.  I used the Cherish Scallped Frames die set, (the largest one in the set) to cut out my card front and then added it to a top fold white card base.  The sentiment is from Sunshine and Wildflowers stamp set CL5290 heat embossed in white. I added some gold paint pen inside the dots between the hearts and then added a few white hearts left over from a previous project for some extra interest.

Here's one last look:

Be sure to come back each day for more inspiration from the team!  Happy crafting my friends!

Paper-Pieced Blue River Butterfly
by Jean Okimoto

P1040195 2

The bold dimensions of the Blue River Butterfly highlight a paper-pieced design - and the Anemone Grove 6x6 prints has the perfect colors and patterns for a summer butterfly.  Hi, Jean here with a collage-y mix of prints, blues, teals and gold.  And a bit of inspiration for June's Sympathy Card Challenge.

P1040172

Cut 5/8" x 4-1/2" strips of prints from the Anemone Grove 6x6 set - you'll need 2 from the sheet with tiny gold + pale aqua flowers on one side and large pale blue flowers + a turquoise background on the reverse side.

Attach the strips to a piece of adhesive label paper (or a sticker sheet).  Cut Blue River Butterfly from printer paper. Use the offcut  as a template to find the perfect area to diecut your butterfly.  Place the die in the template and cut the butterfly.

Cut the butterfly's center and wing accents from the gold Rainbow Reflections 6x6.

Cut white cardstock with the 1.75" and 2.25" wide Rectangle Basics dies.  Attach just the centers of the rectangles so the edges lift slightly for dimension.  Attach the butterfly.

P1040207

Attach the diecuts to a top-folded white A2 card - use foam dots for the top of the wings.

Stamp the greeting - from the With Sympathy Clear Stamps Set - with Warm Breeze VersaFine Clair.

Add turquoise Christmas Fairy Dewdrops.  Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.

P1040204

Memory Box 6x6 sets feature a great mix of colors, gold details, prints and patterns to mix and match for colorful summer designs.  Add sparkly, shimmery accents with our glitter pads, mirror cardstock, gems, dewdrops and jewels.

Thanks for visiting  our blog...have a great weekend!

Hello Card
by Donna Sledzik

IMG_0857

Happy Thursday everyone!  Today I have another quick and easy card for you using new stamp sets from the 2025 Summer Meadow and Peony releases.

IMG_0859

For the background panel of my card I used the Circle Basic die set, traced several sizes of circles onto white cardstock and then colored them in with colored pencils.

Next I used black ink to stamp the flower onto the background panel.  I filled the whole background with the stamped image.  Next I glued it to a black cardstock mat and adhered it to a white card base.

The word Hello was stamped onto black cardstock, white heat embossed and die cut with the coordinating die.  I used foam tape to adhere it to the card front.

See how easy that was!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Hello, Jean here with a different approach.  I like to preview a card by telling you how quick and easy it is.  Today's card is a detailed design that requires time, patience and a lot of glue.  Hope you'll like it!

Stamp Sunshine and Wildflowers on white cardstock with Onyx Black VersaFine.  Quickly heat-emboss it with detail clear powder.  Cut it with the 3-1/2" wide Nested Globes die.

Cut the small Bird Blossoms flowers from Raspberry Sorbet and Orange Peel cardstock, and from light peach cardstock.

Cut the small Fringe Flowers from the cardstock too.  Cut three sets of the small Fringe Flowers centers from a sheet of the Black Glossy Paper Pack.

I couldn't send sunshine and wildflowers with a sunburst so...cut the larger Fringe Flowers from the bright yellow Graceful Garden Glitter Pad 6x6.  Cut the largest Fringe Flowers center from the yellow glittered 6x6 too.  We're using 5 of the 6 flowers and the center to create a sun.  Build the sun by starting and ending with wider pieces and layering the skinny pieces in between.  Attach the circle.  (The only diecut not used for the sun is shown in the first photo)

Attach the diecuts to the Nested Globe background.  Add 1/4" circles punched from the yellow glittered 6x6.

Attach the everything  to a textured white A6 card (4-1/2" x -1/4").

Stamp the greeting - from the new Sunshine and Wildflowers Clear Stamps - on pale peach cardstock with Onyx Black VersaFine.  Quickly heat-emboss it with detail clear powder.  Add the greeting to the card - use foam tape for the "Sending."

Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.

Send caring thoughts and words of support with a mix of design elements and soft colors.  Hi,  Jean here after (hopefully!) many glitches and challenges.  Hoping these quiet thoughts and gentle colors will calm things down a bit...

Stamp the butterfly -  from the Hello Butterfly Clear Stamp and Die Set - on white vellum with VersaMark.  Heat-emboss it with detail white powder.  Cut two butterflies from the purple Lagoon Collection 6x6.  Score and crease  the butterflies at 1/8" to the left and right of the center for extra lift.  Cut the vellum butterfly too. Attach just the center of the vellum butterfly with a narrow strip of doublestick tape.  Layer the purple butterflies - offset and extend them beyond the vellum butterfly.

Cut the light blue/lavender Anemone Plaid with the die from the Vintage Tray 3D Embossing Folder and Cutting Die.

Spritz both sides of pale lavender cardstock with a light mist of water and emboss it with the Vintage Tray 3D Embossing Folder.  Cut it with the coordinating die.

Attach the diecuts to a top-folded white A2 card - use foam tape for the butterfly.

Stamp the greeting - from the new With Sympathy Clear Stamps Set - on a light blue 6x6 from the Lagoon Collection - with Pearlescent Lavender Brilliance.  Dry the ink, then cut it with the short end of the largest block of the Vintage Tray die.  Trim the excess.  Attach it with foam tape.

Add purple/bronze Treasure Chest Fairy Gemstones.  Cut an A2-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.

This is a sweet card to send at any time.  You could add one of the sentiment circle or rectangle tabs from Memory Box or stamp one of the sentiments from one of the clear stamp sets on the inside along with your personal message.  Change it up even more by using different frames behind the bird and flower or use different papers for the background and the bird.  So many possibilities!

Happy Crafting!
