Layer poinsettias, pinecones and pine branches on a holiday design from the 2024 Yuletide Collection. Double-embossing adds shadowy texture to the new Pinecone Duo too. Hi, Jean here with another design for your stash of holiday ideas.
Cut Pinecone Duo background and detailed overlay from dark brown cardstock. Spritz both sides of the background diecuts with a light mist of water. Pressure-emboss them using the rubber embossing mat and plates required for your machine.
Sponge or brayer the detailed overlays with VersaMark. Heat-emboss them with detail clear powder. Assemble the pinecones.
Cut two sets of Petite Poinsettias from the bright pinkish-red Blush Collection 6x6. Cut 3 sets of the centers from the orange Glitzy Glitter Pad 6x6. Assemble 1 small and 2 large poinsettias.
Cut the evergreens from the Pinecone Duo and Pine Branches sets from a dark yellow-green Greenery Collection 6x6.
Cut a dark green Greenery 6x6 with the 2-½" wide Nested Globes die. Cut a diagonal red and gold Yuletide Plaid 6x6 with the same die. Trim the bottom corners with a corner rounding punch.
Stamp the greeting - from the new Holiday Wishes Clear Stamp and Die Set - on natural cardstock with Tulip Red VersaFine Clair. Dry the iink, then cut the greeting with the smallest Nested Globes die. Trim the straight end so the diecut is about 1-⅞" long.
Attach the diecuts to a natural A6 card - 4-½ x 6-¼" - use foam dots for the right edge of the greeting.
Thanks for visiting...see you on Friday!
