Snowflakes and Pinecone Joy by Anne Thompson

Today's card features a number of papers and dies from the newest 2024 YULETIDE collection-- YULETIDE PLAID PP1031 and YULETIDE CHEER PP1032 papers; FRINGED SCALLOPED FRAME SET 94842, PINECONE DUO 94802, DRIFTING SNOWFLAKES 94816, and SNOWFLAKE JOY 94797 dies. I also used some scraps of white, dark brown and light brown card stock papers.

to make this card

Choose one of the plaids from YULETIDE PLAID PP1031 and cover the front of a side-fold A2 note card. I used one of the lighter red plaids.

Die cut one of the patterned papers from YULETIDE CHEER PP1032 using the next to the largest die from the FRINGED SCALLOPED FRAME SET 94842. I chose a light brown-ish paper.

Use the PINECONE DUO 94802 dies to cut the solid shapes from dark brown card stock, the detailed cones from a lighter brown card stock, and the pine branches from one of the green plaids from YULETIDE PLAID PP1031.

Die cut the two pieces of DRIFTING SNOWFLAKES 94816 from white card stock.

Use the SNOWFLAKE JOY 94797 dies to cut the sentiment--cut the background solid shape from the scrap of the red plaid left from covering the note card; cut the snowflake-detailed JOY from a scrap of white card stock, remove the J and Y to leave the letter outlines, and save the tiny star-shape from the snowflake center.

to assemble this card

add the Fringed Scalloped Frame to the center of the note card front
audition the placement of the other die cut pieces
add the Drifting Snowflakes (without the solid backing piece), the Pinecone Duo pieces (pop up the pinecones with dimensional foam dots), and the Snowflake Joy sentiment to the card front
add a few clear dots in three sizes to the snowflakes

One more holiday/winter card done! This is a card design I will use over and over, cutting multiples of each die and assembling a bunch at once. I love those pinecones!
