Festive Holly and Pretty Presents
by AnneThompson

Here's another holiday (or December birthday?) card using dies and papers from the 2024 Yuletide collection.

to make this card

Cover the front of a side-fold A2 note card with one of the print papers from YULETIDE CHEER PP1032.

Use one of the dies from the FRINGED SCALLOPED FRAME SET 94842 to cut a piece of white card stock and add it to the front of the note card.

Die cut the PRETTY PRESENTS 94761--I did this twice, once from a green plaid and once from a red so I could mix and match them--and FESTIVE HOLLY 94801 using those same green and red papers in the YULETIDE PLAID PP1031 paper pad.

Assemble the holly branches and the presents and add them to the white frame on the note card.  I placed the presents first (I only used five of the six I'd made--the extra one is tucked inside!) and then stacked the holly branches in the upper left to leave room for a sentiment.  I added tiny black gemstones to the holes in the berries for a bit of sparkle.  I used small dimensional foam dots to pop up a couple of the leaves.

Die cut the BELLO JOY 94763 using a scrap of the red plaid for the background and the smooth side of a scrap of watercolor paper for the detailed letters.

Unnamed-1 (1)

Glue the letters in place on the background and add to the note card.

That's it!  I'm really loving the Fringed Scalloped Frame Set as a way to showcase dies from this Yuletide collection.  I have another idea already cooking up for my next post!

Happy crafting!
