Brilliant Berries, Pine Branches & Falling Snowflakes
by Angie Cimbalo

MB berries 1

Hello and welcome, it's Angie here today with a fun winter card featuring lots of goodies from the latest release!

Here's a close up look:

I started with the new Falling Snowflakes stencil 88627 and on a piece of turqoise paper I added clear sparkle paste through the stencil with a palette knife.  Once it dried I use Faded Jeans Distress Ink to cover the panel, darker toward the outsides of the panel.  Once the dark blue was on it, you could see the turquoise snowflakes covered by the paste like an ink resist.   I forgot to take a picture of it with just the dried paste on it, so I am showing you another panel I made with a different stencil so you can see what it looked like before I added the dark blue ink.

Next I cut the new Pine Branches 948817 from white card stock and the Brilliant Berries 94730 from brown and red card stocks and glued them all together in the center of the panel.  I added the Bello Joy 94763 sentiment which was cut from white and colored with alcohol markers from light to dark for an ombre effect.  Lastly I added some white gel pen to the red berries to help them pop.  Here's one last look:

I hope you like my card for today.  I love the contrast of the dark against the white and then the added pop of red!  So festive!  Be sure to come back each day for more inspiration from the design team!
