Framed Flower Birthday Card

Hi everyone.  I have a simple design today featuring the Gladiola Plaid paper and Gladiola Floral Duo Die set.  The design using a frame to create a small area for the focal point to show more of the beautiful paper.

Flower:

Die cut the Gladiola Floral Duo from heavy white card stock.  Ink blend 1 of the flowers with Distress Oxide Dried Marigold.  Ink blend the stamen with Oxide Squeezed Lemonade and then Frayed Burlap. Shape the flowers with a large ball and tiny ball styles.  Adhere the die cuts following the front of the envelope.   

Frame:

Die cut the 3rd smallest Double Stitch Square Cut Out die and a slightly larger one form the Square Basics Set from gold paper from Vintage Pastel pad. Adhere foam tape around the bottom side to pop up the frame.

Butterfly:

Die but the smallest butterfly from the Exquisite Butterflies die set.  Ink blend the wings from the center to midway using Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade.  Ink blend with Shaded Lilac from the end of the wings to meet with the yellow. Ink blend the body with Frayed Burlap and adhere to the center.  Lightly curve the wings with your fingers.

Assembly:

Die cut the lightest yellow paper from the Sunrise pad using the sane sized Square Basics used for the frame.   Die cut the patterned paper from the Gladiola Plaid pad using the largest Stitched Rectangle Layers die set.  Trim a golden yellow paper from the Sunrise pap to A2 size.  Adhere the golden yellow paper to a A2 white card base.  Adhere the plaid paper to the center then the light yellow square to the center.  Adhere the frame with the foam tape over the yellow square paper.  Adhere the gladiola flower and then butterfly.  Adhere a Foil Happy Birthday Greeting White Tab.
