Hi everyone. I have a card feature the Dainty Fuchsia Stem die set and the new Brilliant Fuchsia paper pad. I love the vibrant dark tone colors in the paper pad. In this design I colored the fuchsia a light pink to standout against that dark background. This is a simple trick to use the darker pattern papers with die cut as a focal image. Also the Foil Greeting Tabs in black make a perfect sentiment to pair with these darker pattern papers.
Focal Image
Die cut the Dainty Fuchsia Stem set and CanyonButterflies from heavy white card stock. Ink blend all with Distress Oxide ink. The flowers and bud are Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo, and Squeezed Lemonade. The leaves, branch, and stem are Twisted Citron and then Rustic Wilderness. The butterfly is Kitsch Flamingo, Villainous Potion and Black Soot. Adhere the flowers and butter using the envelope as a guide.
Assembly:
Trim black card stock to A2 size. Die cut the darkest purple paper from the Twilight Purple paper pad using the largest die from the Matinee Rectangle Layers. Die cut the dark green lantern paper from the Brilliant Fuchsia paper pad using the 2nd largest die from the Matinee Rectangle Layers. Adhere the pattern paper to the dark purple paper using foam tape. Adhere the paper to the black A2 panel then adhere to an A2 card of your choice. I used standard white. Adhere the branch from the top left corner angling down to middle of the paper. Adhere the full bloom flower to the left side, tucking the stem under the branch. Adhere the bud to the right side, tucking the stem under the branch. Round the wings of the butterfly over a pencil and then adhere over the bud stem on the branch. Trim down a Happy Birthday Foil Greetings Black Tab close to the letters. Adhere in the lower left corner.
