Create a hybrid floral thank you card with a duo of Duos - the Gladiola Floral Duo and Anemone Bud Duo. It's a bit of pink-inspiration for May's Pretty in Pink Challenge too. Hi, Jean here with a combo of diecuts from our collection of floral designs.
(Having blog photo uploading issues - I've deleted the distorted pictures.)
Cut Gladiola Floral Duo from the pink Vintage Pastel Mirror Pad 6x6. Cut 2 sets of the stamens from the 8.5"x11' Black Glossy Paper (it's cardstock). Remove half of one set for one of the flowers. Assemble the flowers - it's easier to attach the stamen pieces behind the bottom center petal diecut vs. attaching it to the background petals.
Cut the Anemone Bud Duo stem, leaves and sepals from dark gray cardstock.
Cut the pink and gold Glimmering Gladiola 6x6 with the 2-¼" wide Slim Basic Rectangle Layers die - then trim it to 5-¾" long. Cut light pink cardstock with the 1-⅛" wide Slim Basic Rectangle Layers Die - then trim it to 5" long. Attach the rectangles to a textured gray A6 card (6-¼" x 4-½").
Attach the Anemone Bud Duo diecuts and the blossoms - use foam tape near the center of the leaves.
Add a Thank You Foil Greetings Tab and pale peachy-gold Pastel Jewels. Cut an A6-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
I like to mix big blossoms and little greetings - or tiny flowers and bold greetings. The Thank You and Happy Birthday Foil Greetings are great timesavers. Create a stash of all-occasion cards when you're in a creative mood - then just add a foil greeting tab or circle when you need a quick card!
Thanks for visiting - have a great weekend...
