Anemone Birthday Card by Sara Cook

Hi everyone! I have an easy but stunning birthday card design featuring the Anemone Drift 3D embossing folder. I have the design in both in cool or warm colors.

Background:

Emboss black card stock using the Anemone Drift 3D embossing folder. Trim to A2 size. Use Fresh Ink Capri Blue or French Lavender to lightly rub on top of the flowers. Use gel pen to add highlights to the stamens of the flowers, silver for the blue card and gold for the purple card.

Flowers:

Die cut a the 2 flower dies from the Anemone Drift from blue and/or purple card stock from the Ocean Blue paper pad. Secure the die cuts to the matching flowers in the embossing folder and run through your machine. Add some highlights to the edges of the die cuts using a white gel pen and use your finger to blend the color to the center of the flower.

Sentiment:

Die cut the bottom of the Happy Birthday Debut Script from vellum and the top from silver and/or gold paper from the Vintage Pastel Mirror Pad. Adhere together. I lots the dot for my i and used a blue gem from the Pastel Jewels.

Assembly:

Adhere the background to an A2 white card. Adhere the sentiment to the center of the card. Adhere the flowers around the sentiment.
