Hi everyone. I have a winter scene card featuring the Layered Narrow Pine die set and the matching Pine Tree Grove die set.
Trees:
Die cut the Layered Narrow Pine die set and the matching Pine Tree Grove die set from a dark and mid-tone green card stock. My dark green card stock wasn't dark enough so I ink blended using VersaFine Clair Rain Forest. Adhere the 2 layers together with the lighter card stock on top. Using your finger add some Distress Opaque Grit Paste to either side of the trees. Splatter with white paint.
Background:
Ink blend heavy 4" x 51/4" white card panel with Fresh Ink Silicone Blue. Add Distress Oxide Stormy Sky using a natural sponge randomly around the sky. Go back over again with the Silicone Blue. Splatter with white paint.
Snowbanks:
Fussy cut a 4" wide card stock about 1" up snowbank and another about 1 1/2" high. Apply Distress Opaque Grit Paste with your finger to the snow banks. On the shorter snow bank adhere 2 strips of heavy card stock to the back.
Sentiment:
Stamp Let it Snow from Birch Press Design Gold Tidings clear stamp set on white card stock using the VersaFine Clair Rain Forest. Die Cut using the smallest die from the Slim Basic Rectangle Layers set.
Assembly:
Adhere the taller snowbank then the shorter snowbank. Adhere a small strip of heavy white card stock to the center of each of the Pine Tree Grove. Adhere the Pine Tree Groves to the taller snowbank. Add a thin strip of foam to the center of the Layered Narrow Pine Tree. Adhere the trees to the front of the snow bank. Adhere the sentiment to the upper left of the panel and trim of excess. Adhere to a A2 size white note card.
