Cardinal Christmas Card

Hi everyone.  I have a night sky scene featuring the new Layered Cardinal and Woodgrain Bird House die sets.

Bird:

Die cut the Layered Cardinal die body from red card stock and black for the face and white for the beak.  Ink blend the body with Distress Lumberjack Plaid and Age Mahogany.  Ink blend the beak with Distress Spiced Pumpkin.  Adhere the wings with foam tape. Adhere the head and then peak with glue.

House:

Die cut the house out of cream card stock.  Ink blend the house with Distress Weather Wood. the roof and bottom with Distress Walnut Stain.  Add Distress Opaque Grit Paste to the snowy roof.  Let dry. Adhere together using the envelop as a guide. Adhere a small piece of black paper to the back to cover the hole.

Foliage:

Die cut the Leaf Bunches and Classic Pine Needle Sprigs from green card stock.  Smoosh Distress Oxide Crushed Olive ink on work surface, spritz with water and tap in the Leaf Bunches die cuts.  Add Distress Opaque Grit Paste to the ends of the Needle Sprigs die cut.  Let dry.

Background:

Cut a dark blue card stock to 5" x & 7".  Stencil using the Starlight Snow and Distress Opaque Texture Paste.  Let dry.

Assembly:

Adhere the background to a 5" x 7" white card base.  Adhere the foliage die cuts to the lower right side of the card.  Adhere the bird house and then the bird on the roof with foam tape.  Adhere a Merry Christmas  Foil Greetings Rose Tab.
