Hello everyone! Today I have some festive Christmas tags you can make using rub-ons and patterned paper.
I started by die cutting patterned paper using one of the Nested Globe dies. I also cut 2 plain pieces of cardstock to glue on the back of the tag to cover the vellum strip that I glued to the tag.
Next, I picked two images from the Poinsettia Rub-On sheet and applied them to a piece of white cardstock. The next step was the most time consuming part of the tag...fussy cutting the images.
I cut 2 strips of vellum paper, stamped and heat embossed "Merry Christmas" on them, and wrapped them around the tag. Be sure to glue the ends to the back of the tag.
The plain cardstock die cuts were glued to the back of the tags.
I used foam tape to adhere the rub-on images to the tags, then spattered the holly tag with some gold ink.
To finish the tags, I punched a hole in the top of the tag and added some twine for the tie.
That's it for today! Have a great week!
