Snowy Card
by Sara Cook
Hi everyone! I have a snowflake card using a resist embossing technique.
Stamp and heat emboss with an A2 size white panel and silver embossing powder using the Aurora Snowflake stamp. Ink mush using Distress Oxide inks, Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean, and Blueprint Sketch. Make sure to heat set in between each color. Start with the latest to the darkest. Only add a little of the Blueprint Sketch color. Wipe off any of the ink off the snowflakes when complete. Take the Snow flurries stencils and use shimmer texture paste. I have a very old Pearlesent paste from Dreamweaver. There are similar products on the market.
Trim down the inked panel at an angle at the top. Adhere the snowy panel to a A2 size panel made from a matching color from the Stormy Blue paper pad. Stamp and white heat emboss the LET IT SNOW sentiment from Birch Press Designs Glad Tidings stamp set, on the blue paper at the same angle. Add a strip of silver paper from the Vintage Pastel Mirror pad.
