Hi everyone. I have a card featuring the new layered Friendly Snowman die set. The layered die set is really easy to use and makes for a dramatic effect on any card.
To create the background ink the inside of the Birch Tree Forest 3D embossing folder with Fresh Ink Silicone blue and a A2 size white panel and run it through your die cutting machine. Use a small blending tool and Vintage Photo Distress ink to add color to the indents of the tress. Adhere the background to a white A2 size card.
Die cut Happy Holidays Streamline Script die from red card twice. Adhere together. Ink blend with Lumberjack Plaid Distress Ink. Die cut the smallest of the Layered Birds from white and red card stock. Ink blend the tops with Lumberjack Plaid Distress ink and adhere on the white bottom die cuts.
Die cut the Layered Friendly Snowman's body, hat and earmuffs from white card stock. Ink blend the bottom 2 layers of the snowman with Fresh Ink Silicone Blue, heaviest ink on the bottom layer and lighter for the 2nd layer. Use the same ink to ink blend the earmuffs and the bottom layer of the fury of the hat. Die cut the hat out of a light red card stock. Ink blend the bottom using Lumberjack Plaid Distress ink. Die cut the scrap from a red Poinsettia Plaid paper. Ink blend with Lumberjack Plaid to the bottom layers to add depth. die cut the arms from Kraft card stock and ink blend with Vintage Photo Distress ink. Adhere together using the package as a guide.
Adhere the sentiment and snowmaker to front of the card. Adhere the birds to it looks like they are sitting in the trees. I used the largest at the bottom and smallest at the top.
