by Sara Cook

Hi everyone.  I have a cute bird Christmas card for you today.  It is a quick and easy card to recreate.

Trim the light aqua snowflake paper from the Poinsettia Garland pad to A2. Ink blend with Speckled Egg Distress ink around the outside edges.  Die cut the Aurora Snowflake Frame die from heavy white card sock and adhere to the patterned paper.

Die cut the bottom Merry Christmas Charmed Script die from a matching paper from Fresh Aqua pad.  Die cut the top 2 times from heavy white card stock.  Use the outline die cut (keep the centers of the letters) to adhere to the bottom die cut.  Glue in the centers of the letters.  Use a matching jewel from the Christmas Fairy Jewel for the top of the i.

Die cut 1 of the Nestled Chickadee Duo from white card stock.  Ink blend the lower portion of body and the top wing with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink.  Ink blend the bottom wing with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink.  Ink blend the cut out for the face with Salvaged Patina and Iced Spruce Distress Ink.  Add a little Iced Spruce to the beak and on the tips of the wings.  Adhere the layers per the packaging.  Use foam tape to the top wing.  Use a black gel pen to color in the eye.

Adhere the background to a A2 size white card. Adhere the sentiment to the bottom right hand corner of the card. adhere the bird above the "C'.  Add matching Winter Fantasy Fairy Gemstones to the center of the snow flakes.
