Introducing…the Fall 2023 Collection by Jean Okimoto

 

 

Get ready for Halloween with our Fall 2023 Collection!  Combine cool new designs from this great release with favorites from your stash of Memory Box fall dies, stamps, papers and bling.  We're introducing a swirly new frame and pumpkin - with the favorite Playful Boo from an earlier release.   Hi, Jean here sharing the first of many Design Team ideas for October 31st.  

Prep the fun new Fanciful Gilded Frame by rubbing it briskly with scrunched waxed paper to help release the offcuts.  Save the larger offcuts - we'll find ways to use them later.  

Cut the Autumn Pumpkin from a Sunny Orange Collection 6x6.  Cut the leaves and tendril from the mint green Rainbow Reflections 6x6.  

Extend the use of your dies to create the Jack-o-Lantern's face.  Cut black cardstock with Playful Boo - use the o-ovals for the eyes.  Cut the little nose (or mouth) with the tendril from the pumpkin set.  Attach the pieces to the pumpkin.

Cut Playful Boo from the orange Glitzy Glitter 6x6.

Attach the diecuts to a top-folded black A2 card.  Add Autumn Fairy Crystals.  Cut an A2-sized rectangle of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.  

Your first Hallloween card is ready to go!  It's a simple design - with lots of details.  Have fun with this release - discover how easy it is to combine the new designs with favorites from previous fall collections.  Links for the new items will be added to our posts as soon as they are available.

Great card! I don’t usually do Halloween cards or anything if that theme, so I love that these dies can be used in multiple ways and you’re not limited to just Halloween. The pumpkin will be great for fall or Thanksgiving, as well as the swirl background is super beautiful and it could be used for wedding theme, Christmas, and so much more!

Thank you Charity! Yes, Autumn Pumpkin is great for fall birthdays and Thanksgiving too. Fanciful Gilded Frame offcuts include two swirly hearts perfect for wedding and Valentine cards. It's also a pretty white-on-white background!
