Diecut and emboss a pale pink Magnolia Rub-On blossom for extra dimension. Add a beautiful Magnolia Grove leafy print and golden butterflies - then tuck Tilted Thanks inside. Hi, Jean here with a simple tri-fold thank you for any occasion.
Cut the magnolia rub-on and its paper liner - leave extra space around the design. Carefully remove the paper liner, then lightly tap the design onto pale pink cardstock. Place it between two layers of printer paper and run it through your diecut machine using the plates you'd use for diecutting. The Memory Box Magnolia Rub-On set includes a wood craft burnishing stick - but it's quick and easy to burnish the rub-on with a diecut machine. Don't remove the frosty top layer yet.
Cut the design with the die from the Marvelous Magnolia 3D Embossing Folder and CuttingDies. Place the diecut in the embossing folder and emboss it using the plates required for your machine. Carefully remove the frosty top layer.
Cut pale pink cardstock with the 1-½" x 2-¾" Rectangle Basics die. Attach the diecut rub-on - use foam tape behind the petals.
Cut the pink and gold leaf print - from the Magnolia Grove 6x6 set - with the 2" x 3-¼" Rectangle Basics die.
Cut three Intricate Mini Butterflies from the pale gold Rainbow Reflections Mirror Pad sheet.
Cut white cardstock to 5-½" x 10-¾". Score it at 3-¼" and 6-½". Attach the rectangles. Attach the butterflies with foam tape - place the left wing of the larger butterfly slightly over the 3-½" fold to hold it in place.
Spread glue between two scraps of pale pink cardstock. Diecut it with Tilted Thanks. That's easier than diecutting the greeting twice and gluing the layers together. Attach the greeting to the 3rd panel so it's hidden when the card is folded.
Try variations of this basic design with the other Magnolia Rub-Ons and stamped or diecut greetings. Or just create a stash of tri-fold cards and add your greetings later.
Thanks for visiting...see you on Friday!
