by Sara Cook

Hi everyone.  I am using the new Magnolia Rub Ons and the Fancy Gate Globe to create a greeting card. Check out my Instagram page for the making of the Magnolia Gate card.

Flowers -  Magnolia Rub On and Marvelous Magnolia 3D Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies:

Rub on the curved magnolia branch and the 3 with the matching cutting dies. Die cut and fussy cut out the images.  Use a black marker around the edges of the leaves and branches to hide the white card stock.

Gate - Fancy Gate Gloabe:

Die cut the gate card from heavy weight black card stock.  Trim off the bottom section of the die cut. Use a bronze wax rub on paint. 716DE4D2-2155-49C0-8E73-2FBEB6C4A454

Sentiment - Hello Rush Script and Vibrant Violet pape pad:

Die cut hello from the purple/pink medium tone card stock twice and adhere together with liquid glue.

Background - Nested Globe die set and Magnolia Plaid paper pad:

Choose a dark purple plaid paper without gold highlights and trim down to A4 size..  Use the globe die that is the same size as inside the gate and die cut the center out.  Add foam tape to the back side.

Assembly - Majestic Hues Glitter paper pad:

Trim down the black with purple highlight paper slightly smaller than A2.  Adhere to the front of a white top folding A2 card.  Adhere the background to the front.  Use liquid adhesive to glue down the sentiment to the center of the opening.  Glue the gate around the opening.  Then glue the rubs on around the top of the gate.
