Hugs, Hearts and A Marvelous Magnolia by Jean Okimoto

Add texture and floral details to rub-on transfers with the Marvelous Magnolia 3D Embossing Folder. It's an easy, foolproof way to add dimension to several of the beautifully-colored Magnolia Rub-On transfers. Hi, Jean here with a simple floral design for friendship cards - or a Mother's Day card.

Cut the magnolia blossom from the transfer sheet and the paper liner - leave a margin around the design. Carefully remove the paper liner. Press the transfer lightly onto pale pink cardstock. The Magnolia Rub-On set includes 2 sheets of transfers - and a wood burnishing stick to transfer the image. I like to run the transfer and cardstock through the diecut machine instead of burnishing it. Place the cardstock between 2 layers of printer paper to protect it from any deep scratches or bumps on your diecutting plates. Run the transfer and cardstock through the machine with the plates used for diecutting. Carefully remove the frosted top liner.

Cut the flower with the die that's included in the embossing folder set. Place the diecut in the embossing folder and run it through the machine using the plates required for 3D embossing folders.

Cut the largest Double Stitch Happy Heart from pale pink cardstock. Cut the heart with the second-largest Double Stitch Happy Heart die to add the stitch outline and diecut the interior heart.

Spread glue between 2 layers of pale pink cardstock and run it through the diecut machine to distribute the glue. Cut it with the Hugs Tender Script background die. Pressure-emboss the diecut with the detailed top layer of the diecut set. This creats a debossed background that makes it easy to attach the detailed greeting.

Cut the detailed greeting from the light chartreuse Graceful Garden Glitter Pad 6x6. Attach it to the background,

Attach the diecuts to a top-folded white A2 card - use foam dots for the top halves of the flower and the heart. Add pale pink Pastel Fairy Jewels.
