Hello everyone. Today I have a super easy Mother’s Day card made with the Marvelous Magnolia 3D embossing folder (EF) from the April 2023 Magnolia release. This card is for my mother-in-law.
The EF was ran through the die cutting machine with a piece of dark grey cardstock. Took white pigment ink and lightly swiped it across the raised areas. Some of the white ink caught the edges, so used a foam blending tool to apply Black Soot distress ink (DI) along the edges.
Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry DI were then ombré ink blended onto a scrap piece of Bristol paper. Die cut the Wooden Alpha letters from it and twice more from the same dark grey cardstock before stacking them for a floating effect. Assembled onto a white card base and added clear shimmer to the flowers and ombre letters to finish.
That does it for my card. Thank you for joining me today. Have a wonderful day
