Snowflake Gift Tags
by Sara Cook

Hi everyone.  I just love the snowflakes and pastel colors this season.  I cannot stay away from it with all the matching papers and beautiful dies.  Today I have a snowflake gift tag design that is easily repeatable for mass production of tags.  The Delicate Pastel Glitter paper and Vintage Pastel Mirror paper match along with the pastel jewels making it easy to create.

Tag base:

Die cut white card stock with the 2nd largest Nested Globes set.  Die cut the next smaller size from a light colored plaid design from the Jolly Christmas papers.  Adhere the 2 together and punch a hole in the top center.

Snowflakes:

Choose 3 different colors that match from the Pastel Glitter paper and Vintage Pastel Mirror paper. Die cut 1 set of the Starburst Snowflake Discs and 2 set Feathery Snowflake Discs from each paper.  Make sure to use a cutting plate a the papers are thick and the dies intricate. Discard the little cut outs as it will be easier to use Fairy Jewels to fill in.  Take the inter snowflakes out and pop them in the matching color of the different type of paper.

Sentiment:

Stamp "Holiday Greetings" from the Festive Christmas Greetings set on white card stock.  I used a stamp platform and a smaller piece of paper that I can move every 1/2 to stamp several sentiments in a row.  Die cut each sentiment using the smallest die from the Slim Basic Rectangles Layers set.  Trim off the one end to decided length with scissors.

Assembly:

Adhere the snowflakes in the 3 different sized onto the tags.  Add matching Pastel Fairy Jewels around the cut out to hide the plaid paper.  If you don't have the Fairy Jewels the Fairy Sugar glue also works!  I did run out of Fairy Jewels and needed to color the clear with an alcohol marker.  Add the sentiment to the right side of the tag.  Add some matching twine through the hole to adhere to the present.  You can add your message to the back of the tag.
