Warm Wishes by Donna Sledzik
Good morning everyone! Today's card features some of the new products from the Memory Box 2022 Christmas release. I love the little snowman die and it's perfect for paper piecing.
To make this card, I began by die cutting one of the nested globes from a light blue cardstock. I used Stormy Sky Distress Oxide Ink to deepen the color of the die cut. I glued it to a white cardstock panel, adhered it to a black cardstock mat and mounted it to a white card base.
I die cut the trees from 2 shades of green cardstock and glued the highlight piece on top of the darker green tree. Next, I glued them to the blue globe die cut.
I die cut the snowman body and the hat brim from dark gray, light gray and white cardstock and glued them on top of each other. I colored the nose with an orange marker and the eyes with a black marker. The cheeks were done with a pink pencil and the buttons are black Nuvo Drops. I also glued a white pompom to his hat.
The scarf and hat were die cut from the new Christmas Jolly paper pad and pieced together, then glued to the snowman. I used foam tape to adhere him in front of the trees.
I spattered the card with white paint for the look of falling snow.
I stamped the greeting on a white cardstock strip and mounted it on a larger black cardstock mat. I used foam tape to adhere it to my card.
That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
