Hello there.  I can’t get enough of these adorable ghosts, so I had to use them again but this time for a Halloween easel card.

Started by die cutting a moon mask with a Circle Basics die and attached it to an A2 size Bristol panel.  Using blender brushes, ink blended Speckled Egg, Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot distress inks for the sky.  Splattered with diluted black and white gouache paints for some texture.

The Fancy Gate Globe was then die cut twice from black cardstock.  Trimmed off the arches on both; on one of them, cut in half and cut away the gate details.  Adhered them together like so to create a fence with the gate.  Great way to stretch your supplies. 😉

Next, die cut the Woodgrain Tree Trunk from black cardstock and the ghosts from white.  Added shading to the moon and ghosts with Copic Sketch markers, then assemble the scene onto the panel.  The right ghost was popped up with foam adhesive for dimension.  Spritz the entire panel with a shimmer spray for some sparkle (sorry couldn’t capture it in the photos).

To create the easel base, scored the front of an A2 size top folding card base at 2.75” and adhered the panel to the bottom half below the scored line.  The Happy Halloween Posh Script sentiment with shadow was then die cut from white and navy cardstock to be used as the stopper.  Here’s a side view of it all propped up.

And that is it for my card.  Thank you for joining me today.  Have a wonderful day.
