Flying Witch on a Golden Broom by Jean Okimoto

Traditional holiday colors and designs are nice...but Halloween gives us a great excuse to play with colors and design elements. Like a Black Glossy cardstock witch with a pink cape riding a shimmery golden broom. Hi, Jean Okimoto here with a mix-and-match Halloween idea, just for fun.

Cut Exquisite Leaf Frame from the dark orange sheet in the Sunny Orange Collection.

Cut Flying Witch from Black Glossy Paper (it's cardstock). Cut the cape section from the pink sheet in the Berry Red Collection. Cut the broom from a gold sheet in the Rainbow Reflections Mirror Pad. Trim it and attach it over the Black Glossy broom.

Cut the 1-¼" moon from the white Polished Foil Pad sheet using the Circle Basics die.

Cut 2 bats - from the Haunted Entrance Dome Layer set - from Black Glossy cardstock.

Cut Boo Posh Script from black cardstock and the orange cardstock used for the leaf frame.

Attach the diecuts to a dark orange A2 card - use foam dots for the witch's cape and the bottom of the broom.

Have fun experimenting with this design - try it with different cape colors - like chartreuse, teal, coral or fuchsia. And post it as your entry in our September Falling for Fall Challenge!
