Hi everyone. I have a fall birthday card featuring the Exquisite Leaf set and Happy Birthday Posh Script dies from the spring release. How easy it is to just change up the color scheme and go from spring to fall.
Leaves:
Spray Open Studio Watercolor paper with Distress Oxide sprays in Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn, and Dried Marigold. Let dry. Die cut 2 sets of the Exquisite Leaf set from the sprayed paper.
Wood Panel:
Die cut white card stock using the Wood Grain Planks die. Ink blend with Distress Oxide Walnut Stain on each plank. Then lightly add some Distress Oxide Antique Linen to highlight the wood grain. Cut a strip of scrap paper to 4” x 1 ½” and adhere the Wood Grain Plank die cuts.
Sentiment:
Die cut the bottom die of the Happy Birthday Posh Script die from ivory card stock. Then die cut the top die from a matching red paper from the Berry Red paper pad. Adhere together.
Background:
Die cut ivory card stock with the Pinpoint Leaf Plate. Trim down to 4” x 5 ¼”. Trim a dark brown paper from the Earth Neutral paper pad to 5 ½” x 4 ¼”. Adhere the Pinpoint Leaf panel to the dark brown panel.
Assembly:
Adhere the background to an A2 ivory card. Adhere the wood panel to the center of the background. Do not add adhesive to the top or bottom of the panel to tuck the leaves behind the panel. Adhere the sentiment to the center of the wood panel. Arrange and adhere 1 sets of the leaves to the upper left side of the wood panel. Adhere the 2nd set of leaves mirrors of the first set in the lower right side of the wood panel.
