Hi everyone. I am loving this new Halloween release. So many good dies to make little Halloween scene cards. I have a scene card with the Flying Witch over the moon.
Background:
Ink spray on heavy white card stock with Distress Hocus Pocus Mica Stain and Dylusions Postbox Red Shimmer Spray. Leaving the upper center of the card free of ink. Let dry. Trim down the card to 4"x 5 1/4". In the upper center of the card ink blend with Distress Spiced Marmalade ink. Then ink blend around the edges with Distress Black Soot ink. Use the 3" circle die from the Circle Basics Set and die cut the upper center of the card. Adhere a piece of vellum to the back of the cut out. Adhere a slightly smaller card to the back using the lightest yellow from the Sunny Orange paper pad.
Witch:
Die cut the Flying Witch from heavy black card stock. Die cut the cape and hat from a purple paper from the Glitzy Glitter pad. Add Distress Antique Linen Crayon to the witch's face and broom. Adhere the hat and cape to the witch.
Tree and Cattails:
Die cut the Woodgrain Tree Truck and Cattail Border dies from heavy black card stock. Add Distress Vintage Photo Crayon to the Woodgrain Tree Truck and rub in. Add Distress Antique Linen Crayon to the Cattails.
Sentiment:
Die cut the background die from the Boo Posh Script die and the top die from heavy black card stock. Adhere together with glue.
Assembly:
Trim down the same purple paper from the Glitzy Glitter pad to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8". Adhere to the center of a black A2 size card. Adhere the Woodgrain Tree Truck to the right hand side laving a small section of the background to show. Adhere the witch over the moon. Then Adhere the cattails to the bottom of the background panel. Trim off any hanging die cuts. Add the sentiment to the lower right hand side. Adhere the background panel to the center of the purple glitter paper. Adhere a 3 1/2 x 4 3/4" light weight card to the inside of the card to write the personalized message.
