Hi everyone. I have a pretty butterfly garden birthday card with using the House Frame die sets has a bird house. These matching die sets are so versatile. I also have an idea to create a beach house with the palm trees from the Nativity House Frame die set with the House Frame Background.
Bird House:
Die cut the House Frame Background die from white Woodgrain paper. Die cut the fence from the house Frame die set 2 times from white Woodgrain paper. Adhere together. Ink blend the edges of the white woodgrain paper with Weathered Wood Distress Ink. Die cut the circle die in the center of the house. Keep the outline circle and discard the center. Then die cut the circle die from Kraft Woodgrain Paper 1 times for the outline circle. Die cut again but from plan Kraft paper and just save all pieces. Adhere all 3 outline circles together with the Kraft Woodgrain paper on top. Die the just the roof portion of the House Frame die set from same Kraft Woodgrain Paper 3 times. Trim off any excess of the sides. Adhere together Die cut the smallest die from the Slim Basic Rectangle Layers die set from Kraft Woodgrain Paper 2 times. Adhere together. Ink blend just the edges of all Kraft color die cuts with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.
Flowers/Foliage:
Die cut all the foliage from the Tall Frilly Leaf Stems, Fresh Cut Stems, and Lavender Bouquet from various shades of green from the Lush Green paper pack. Lightly ink blend the different foliage with Distress ink Rustic Wilderness and Old Paper. for ht Tall Frilly Leaf Stems use Olive Green Zig to color just the stem. Die cut the flower portion of the Lavender Bouquet from Twilight Purple paper, trim off the stem and adhere to the green die cuts. Die cut the flower port of Fresh Cut Stems from light Stormy Blue paper, trim off stems, and adhere to the green portion. Retain the loose flowers to adhere at assembly.
Butterflyes:
Die cut the Intricate Mini Butterflies from both the same purple Twilight paper and light Stormy Blue paper. bend in half and shape the larger butterfly wings with your fingers.
Slimline Card and Frame:
Die cut the largest die from the Slim Basic Rectangle Layers set 2 times from white card stock. Score 1 of the pieces from the back side at 1/4" from the top of the paper. Add double sided adhesive to the scored section. At this time it is easiest to add a sentiment on the inside of the card. Adhere to the other panel so the card folds from the back panel. Die cut a frame by using the largest and 2nd largest frames and cut out of Kraft Woodgrain Paper. Die cut 3 times and adhere together. Ink blend the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Adhere the frame to the front of the card.
Assembly:
Trim down the bird house pole to 3" tall. Use the other end to cut down and adhere to the back of the bird house to prop it up. Adhere the pole to the bottom center of the card. Adhere the roof to the bird house and then adhere to the top center of the pole. Adhere the circle outline in the cutout then adhere the center. Adhere the fence to the bottom of the bird house. Arrange the flowers and foliage at the bottom of the bird house. Adhere the Tall Frilly Leaf Stems down first, in back of the bird house. Then adhere Lavender Bouquest next, adhering them to the top of the birdhouse. Then add the Fresh Cut Stems, adhering towards the bottom of the card. Adhere the butterflies around the house and garden. Stamp Sending Birthday Wishes from he Signature Greetings stamp set using purple ink. Die cut with the matching die. Adhere to the top center of the card with foam tape.
