I got caught up in the idea of fish swimming in and out of the windows in an underwater castle. Is this Atlantis? Or is this in an aquarium?
I started with a piece of cardstock from the OCEAN BLUE COLLECTION SP1005, the CURLING WAVES STENCIL 88624, VersaFine Clair Warm Breeze ink, and a fingertip dauber to make some waves for a background which I then splattered with watered down white watercolor paint.
I chose a light brown cardstock from the EARTH NEUTRALS COLLECTION SP1009 to die cut the STONE KEEP CASTLE COLLAGE 94512 which I then inked with VersaFine Clair Pinecone ink using a fingertip dauber.
I cut the castle away from the background and added it to the waves background.
I chose a bright green cardstock from the LUSH GREEN COLLECTION SP1003 to cut out the SCHOOL OF FISH 94570.
I inked up the fish a bit with VersaFine Clair Shady Lane ink and a fingertip dauber.
I added some of the fish to the panel which I had trimmed to 4 X 5 1/4 and then secured that panel to the front of a top-fold white notecard.
Here are the cardstock paper pads I used...
...and the two dies.
And here's one more card with fewer fish.
Happy Crafting!
