A mix of Tropical Leaves and Graceful Ocean Birds sets the scene for a well-deserved vacation. Hi, Jean Okimoto here with a colorful mix of 3D-embossed leaves and shimmery flamingo-pink seabirds on a summer slimline.
Cut the new Tropical Leaves from 6x6 sheets in the Lush Green and Fresh Aqua Collections - spritz water in the air and pull the cardstock through the mist to soften it and make it pliable for 3D embossing. Repeat with the reverse side of the cardstock.
Diecut the cardstock with the Tropical Leaves 3D Embossing Folder.
Lightly ink the edges and textured areas of the leaves with Distress Oxides. Colors used here are cracked pistachio, mowed lawn, bundled sage and peacock feathers.
Cut white cardstock with the 7" x 2" Slim Basic Rectangle Layers die.
Cut Graceful Ocean Birds with the dark peach 6x6 from the Vintage Pastel Mirror Pad. Love how the details shimmer on the mirror cardstock!
Attach the diecuts to a white slimline card (3-⅝" x 8-½"). Add turquoise Christmas Fairy Jewels.
Leaves aren't usually turquoise - this pretty color just adds the beachy look of soft breezes and gentle waves. That's my excuse!
