Create a simple Hello slimline card with a mix of bright yellows -  and new blossoms from the May 2022 Collection.  Hi, Jean Okimoto here with some double-dipping dies from our latest release.  We're converting coneflowers into daisies and lavender stems into grassy fillers for a sunny bouquet.  The layered greeting gathers and adheres the delicate stems.

Cut several Happy Daisy Stem blossoms from yellow sheets in the Sunny Orange 6x6 Collection.  Color the centers with a marker.   Assemble the flowers.

Cut Lavender Bouquet from 6x6 sheets in the Lush Green Collection.

Cut watercolor paper with the 6-½" x 1-½" Wrapped Stitched Slim Rectangles die.  Spritz it with water.  Sponge it lightly (and splotchy-ly) with twisted cirtron Distress Oxides.  Heat-set it while it's still splotchy to create a variegated background.

Here's an easy way to adhere individual letters to a solid word background.  Attach Scor-Tape to a scrap of a yellow 6x6 sheet and cut the Hello Daily Script background.  Cut the letters from a Lush Green 6x6.  Remove everything from the die - then put the letters back into the die.  Lay the die on a hard flat surface. Save the tape liner - press the adhesive-covered background onto the letters to attach them in a straight line.  Use the saved tape liner to press the letters firmly onto the adhesive. Spread detail clear embossing powder over the remaining exposed adhesive, tap the excess powder off.  Heat-emboss the greeting.

It's actually easier than it sounds - even if the process took a whole paragraph!  The letters will be adhered - in a straight line - and the yellow background will be glossy and bright.

Attach the diecuts to a light yellow slimline card (3-½" x 8-½") - use foamtape for the greeting  Add orangey-yellow Autumn Fairy Jewels.

The May Collection is a great collection of classic flowers and butterflies for cards for everyday and special greetings. Hope you're enjoying the cards the Design Team has created for you.

Thanks for visiting our blog - see you on Friday...

Thanks for tip with the getting the sentiment aligned. Useful to know. Love the card - it is so pretty and elegant.

Really like the layering and those daisies are beautiful. Great idea to make the lavender stems look like grasses!

Beautiful bouquet, and like how you added the jewels
