Greetings friends. I needed a happy card to send a friend, so I automatically thought of the new Daisy Stem die. I thought it would also pair well with the Exquisite Leaf Frame.
For my card, I decided to use the frame but wanted it to be smaller in size. I started by cutting the frame roughly in half:
Next, I layered the two pieces together to make a smaller frame:
To make the flowers of the card, I die cut the petals, stem and stamen from cardstock and then edged the pieces with Distress Ink to give them a bit of dimension. For the yellow petals, I added some Fossilized Amber ink as well as a smidge of Wild Honey ink. For the centers of the flower, I added a touch of Walnut Stain ink. When I assembled the larger flowers, I added a touch of foam tape between the layers to make them pop:
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Gorgeous coloring of the flowers and I love the way you cut down the frame!
