Meet our newest release - the May 2022 Collection of beautiful butterflies, gorgeous flowers - and the introduction of our new hot foil plates for your cards, layouts, and mixed media projects. We're creating spring and summer projects to inspire you - and can't wait to share them with you!
Hello, Jean Okimoto here with the first of many new designs we'll be creating in the coming weeks. The new hot foil products are designed with the same precision and attention to detail that Dave Brethauer devotes to the dies - so you know they'll be a great addition to your Memory Box Collection.
Let's start with the new Sunburst Hot Foil Plate - it's bold, detailed and perfect for any celebration. It'll be great for the holidays too! Prepare your foiling equipment and supplies as recommended by the manufacturers. Foil the delicate sunburst on black paper or cardstock. Trim it to a 4" square.
Hot-foil the new Posh Birthday Wishes on white cardstock.
Color the smoother side of Open Studio Watercolor Paper with watery, overlapping layers of the inks from the Melon Melody Kaleidacolor multicolor inkpad or any of your favorite inks. Dry the inks, then spritz it with a light mist of Imagine's Gold Sheer Shimmer Spritz. Dry the spritz. Cut the paper with the new Intricate Mini Butterflies - a collection of very cool detailed designs.
Cut white cardstock to 11" x 4-½". Score it at 6" to create a 5" indented card front.
Attach the foiled sunburst and greeting to the card - foam tape the left ⅔'s of the greeting and let the remainder of the greeting extend over the edge of the card front.
Attach 6 butterflies to the card front - and 1 butterfly on the opposite edge.
Hope you like butterflies and flowers - they're great for any occasion and in any combination of colors, textures and sizes.
Thanks for visiting our blog - see you again on Wednesday with more designs from our newest release. Have a great weekend...and Happy Mother's Day to everyone celebrating!
