Hello and welcome! Today I have a card in blue and yellow using some awesome collage dies.
Here's a closer look at my card:
The fish were diecut from watercolor paper that was "smooshed" with yellow, orange and blue Distress inks. I also cut them from black to layer each fish so they appear to have a little shadow.
The water background was made with lots of dark blues and a little purple watercolor. While it was drying, I cut the following dies from white card stock and layered them one on top of each other.
Bubble Coral Collage Die
Deepwater Collage Die
Kelp Collage Die
These dies are so amazing because each opening is a different size making them easy to layer to get a really realistic and fun look. They are magical and ingenious designs, and help us crafters and card makers look like masterful creators, just by combining these collage dies together!
Once the watercolor panel dried, I added the fish, some with glue and some popped up on foam tape. The sentiment, from the "Deep Blue Ocean" stamp set, was heat embossed in white on black card stock. To finish my card I added lots of clear and "Winter Fairy Jewels" and "Clear Fairy Jewels" inside the die cut bubbles and scattered around the card front.
Here's one last look:
I hope you like my card and thanks so much for stopping by!
Supplies
Fabulous! The background is perfection for the fish and the fish themselves are just right. The layers just make everything work beautifully.
