Poppy Love by Jean Okimoto
Mirrored, glossy and embossed designs create a simple lovenote for any occasion - way beyond February 14th. Hi, Jean Okimoto here with another slimline card from our latest release - hope you like slimlines as much as I do! Neutral colors let the beautiful bright red Rainbow Reflections Mirror Pad 6x6 make a bold statement on a simple design.
Pressure-emboss natural cardstock with the Geometric Crystals 3D Embossing Folder using the plate(s) required for your machine. Trim it to about 2" x 5-½".
Cut Enchanting Poppy Stem's floral pieces from the bright red Rainbow Reflections Mirror Pad sheet. Cut them again from a medium-dark red 6x6 from the Berry Red Collection. Save the extra diecuts for another project.
Cut the stems and leaves from the new Black Glossy 8-½" x 11" Paper Pack cardstock. Cut the leaves (including 2 of the smaller leaf) again from matte black cardstock. Assemble flower tops and leaves.
Cut the Love You Posh Script background from light Kraft cardstock. Cut the detailed words from the Black Glossy sheet.
Attach everything to a natural slimline card (3-½" x 8-½") - the flower tops first, the stems next, and then the leaves. Add gold Autumn Fairy Crystals.
Cut a slimline-sized piece of cardstock to protect the card front for mailing.
Thanks for visiting the blog - hope you enjoy creating floral cards with our Design Team. I've reached my personal goal of using everything from our latest release - and will be using them many more times - here on the blog and for my card kits. It's a great collection of versatile, mix-and-match-able papers and dies in classic designs for any occasion throughout the year
Special thanks too - to everyone who ordered my Cards by Color - Blush kit from Impress and Roxanne!
See you next week...
