I have two more birthday cards today that use the Layered Star Flowers 94612 with the Happy Birthday Posh Script 94588.
Card One
materials used
- red notecard
- printed papers from GARDEN FOLLY PP1005 and GARLAND PP1010
- LAYERED STAR FLOWERS 94612
- HAPPY BIRTHDAY POSH SCRIPT 94588
- tiny white pearls
to make this card
- trim one of the printed papers 4 X 51/4 and add to the front of a red notecard
- die cut the Layered Star Flowers blossoms from a flowered Garland paper and the leaves from the red leafy paper in the Garden Folly paper pad
- assemble the flower and leaves clusters using glue or glue dots; add tiny white pearls to the flower centers; and attach three sets to the front of the notecard
- die cut the Happy Birthday Posh Script from the same printed papers; use a glue pen to layer the detailed script on top of the background; add to the notecard
- add another flower/leaves set to the inside of the notecard with a scrap of the flowered paper
Card Two
materials used
- white notecard
- blue papers from MADRAS PLAID BLUE AND VIOLET PP1014 (I also used a blue/pale green stripe from GARDEN FOLLY PP1005 for the background on this card.)
- two shades of blue papers from VINTAGE PASTEL MIRROR PAD FP1002
- turquoise gems from CHRISTMAS FAIRY JEWELS JWL005
- LAYERED STAR FLOWERS 94612
- HAPPY BIRTHDAY POSH SCRIPT 94588
to make this card
- trim a plaid or printed paper 4 X 5 1/4 and add to the front of a white notecard, fold on the top edge
- die cut and assemble the Layered Star Flowers using one of the plaid papers and two complementary shades of the blues metallic/pearl papers from the Vintage Pastel Mirror pad; attach three sets to the front of the notecard and one on the inside; add turquoise gems to the flower centers
- die cut the Happy Birthday Posh Script from the same papers; use a glue pen to layer the detailed script on top of the background; add to the notecard
- add three more gems to the left of the sentiment and one more to dot the "i"
I love these little flowers. You can see in the photo above that I made more from the Mirror pad papers that I will use on another project. I've got lots of ideas percolating. They will look sweet on Easter cards.
